The show must go on for Mariah Carey, who posted a clip on YouTube Thursday of her exiting her New York City hospital in a wheelchair after injuring her shoulder.

Looking glam in a maxi tank dress and still in hair and makeup – her right arm in a sling – Carey says wearily, "Well, that was fun. It was harrowing."

But the veteran singer was also a trooper.

"Were going to go back to the video," she says – she hurt herself shooting a remix video for her song Beautiful, directed by husband Nick Cannon. "You know why? You know those people we see on TV, they're professionals," Carey cracks to nurses and attendants who helped her get into her waiting car.

Not before a polite handshake and a Mimi-esque air kiss with her nurse.
