Sometimes it's the little things that matter most to superstar couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
"We tend to find magic in the mundane. Picking Willow up from her girlfriend's house at 9:30 p.m., and enjoying that ride together, then stopping at 7-Eleven to get some ice cream as a family," Smith tells Redbook in their July cover story, on newsstands June 11.
As for her often-scrutinized marriage, Smith says there isn't anything her husband could do to send her for the hills. Well, almost nothing.
"What is the thing that Will could do to make me not love him? That would make me abandon him? I can't think of one. I'm sorry," she says. "Except if he did something bad to the kids – now we've got a problem."
Smith will produce the upcoming talk show, The Queen Latifah Show this fall, while her husband and son Jaden currently star in the sci-fi thriller After Earth.
And of the gossip that comes along with the spotlight of celebrity, Smith says, "At the end of the day, all that matters is: Do you love what you see when you look in the mirror? That is it, baby."
