Must Haves:
10+ years application development and implementation experience
3+ years experience with Oracle
5+ years experience using C# / .NET or ASP.NET/C#
Unit testing experience
Demonstrate experience in all phases of development, testing and implementation

D2D: One of these people will be in support of developing a new application within the Wisdom portal for the IRS Cost Basis project. There will be emphasis on developing a .Net batch component using Oracle. The other person will be working on an existing application based in ASP.Net. Starting out they will be doing all the FSD and Technical Documents that will describe the design and infrastructure and how the new app will work with the current environment. Then they will be doing the development portion and well as the testing portion. They will build test scripts and perform the unit and performance testing, as well as validate the results. The percentage of their day allocated to each responsibility will change depending on what phase of the project they are in.
Responsibilities will also include:
-Analysis, design and architecture, development, and implementation of new Brokerage initiatives using C# and ASP.NET.
-Produce system design artifacts and co-ordinate all technical activities within the development team.
-Perform code reviews and code profiling to ensure the system is developed within architectural guidelines.
-Design the system with intrinsic performance and scalability considerations - obtain sign-off from the performance testing group.
-Control work on projects to ensure software is developed within a reasonable degree of estimates.
-Identify and address technical risks / issues to keep project on time and within budget.
-Work on investigation of defects that are more complex in nature and where developers are having difficulty resolving.
