Beyoncé has been named honorary chair of the upcoming Met Institute Costume Gala on May 6, which means this highly anticipated star-studded fashion affair is about to get seriously stylish.

A rep from the Met confirm to E! News that the singer joins a number of high-profile cochairs to kick off this year's Punk: Chaos to Couture-themed event including Anna Wintour, Riccardo Tisci, Lauren Santo Domingo and Rooney Mara
