Description:
PeopleSoft development experience with either HCM or FMS on modifications, reports, workflow, conversions and interfaces is desired. We are looking to add up to eight more people to the team in this capacity. They would be working primarily to design the technical solution, develop it, test it and work with the ITS project team to ensure it ultimately meets the requirements. Please note that we are asking for responses that include an offshore component. The role would provide the following services:
PeopleSoft development experience with either HCM or FMS on modifications, reports, workflow, conversions and interfaces is desired. We are looking to add up to eight more people to the team in this capacity. They would be working primarily to design the technical solution, develop it, test it and work with the ITS project team to ensure it ultimately meets the requirements. Please note that we are asking for responses that include an offshore component. The role would provide the following services:
1. Assist in the development of technical specifications including test cases needed to ensure the deliverable will meet UNC requirements
2. Have and be able to leverage functional knowledge of either:
a. Core HR module, (including most of the following: Basic setup, Personal Data, Job Data, Position Management and Compensation, with additional focus on Learning Management and Profile Management), Benefits Administration, North American Payroll or Commitment Accounting.
OR
b. PeopleSoft FMS modules such as General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Procurement, eProcurement, Grants, Asset Management and Planning and Budgeting.
3. Advise project team on best technical practices related to integrations, conversions or system modifications.
4. The contractor is expected to work a 40 hour week Monday through Friday (8 Hours per day) or Monday through Thursday (10 hours per day). This is at the discretion of the UNC Sr. Director.

Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of in-depth Business Systems Analyst experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM or FMS is required.
Our preference is for candidates with at least 2 years of implementation experience with version 8.9 or greater.
This experience should have been gained working on implementation project teams, spanning multiple full lifecycle implementation projects. Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM or FMS data structures and business processes within the application is required.
A minimum of 4 years of experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft development technologies (PeopleCode, Application Designer, Component Interface and Application Engine) used to technically design, develop and test interfaces, conversions and modifications.
Integration Broker and XMLpublisher experience is a plus.
The ability to collaborate effectively with other developers, the development team lead and other functional team members is desired.
Strong analytical, organizational, verbal and written communications skills are required.
Candidates should be available for February 2012. We anticipate the duration of the work to be more than six months, but would initially contract for 6
