Position:Mobile iOS Developer
Location:Wilmington, DE
Duration:6+Months
Must do onsite after phone screen…

 

Developer (All) - MID    Primary Accountabilities         Participate with business representatives/users and business analysts, release manager, and/or development manager in the requirements definition process. Review and sign-off on completed requiremenAts documents. Under the general supervision of an Application Developer Lead, Supervisor or Manager translate business requirements into viable technical architectures, database schemas, and designs. Implement the designs (design, code, test, deploy). Support the deployed applications through debugging, fixing, and maintenance releases. Understand the current applications and technical architecture and provide technical and programming support to the developers. Work with users, contractors, vendors and technical personnel to meet project milestones. Stay abreast of new technology and methods to optimize development for the enterprise. Have understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to implement software following the structured approach.

 

Expected Impact          Decisions and actions influence a large number of people and have direct impact on the success of the functional area and/or organization. Has impact on quality, supportability and timeliness of the delivery of the application.
Decision Making          Decisions are generally tactical in nature and impact the success of the project or application. Problems encountered are difficult in nature with various degrees of complexity.
Customer Contact        Works with users, contractors, vendors and technical personnel. Provides direct support to business unit.

 

Education and Experience     
Either – 4 year degree, BS Computer Science or Engineering plus minimum 3-5 years of related experience
Or – Equivalent overall experience typically gained through 10+ year's business programming experience.

 

Technical Skills           Required/Must
Java:
Java, J2EE design patterns, SOA, Spring, Spring Web services, Oracle DB, SQL, Frameworks (Struts, Stripes, Spring), SOA Webservices (SOAP, REST)

 

Mobile:
-           Android SDK, Blackberry SDK, JSON, REST
-           iOS SDK (preferable)
