Description:
Test Automation Developer is responsible for the creation, maintenance and execution of automated regression test scripts for all Barclaycard US' technology releases.

Help creating a maintainable and reusable hybrid test automation framework to maximize testing ROI.
Help to determine most suitable strategy and approaches for test automation of various applications and systems.
Assist to establish quality assurance standards and best practices for test automations efforts.
The individual will have the opportunity to make a direct impact by developing automation test scripts that ensure a high-quality solution.
To provide the required domain and functional knowledge to the Test team.
To ensure the quality and coverage of Regression testing.
Help to determine most suitable strategy and approaches for test automation of various applications and systems.
Assist to establish quality assurance standards and best practices for test automations efforts.

Will assist in design, extend, and optimize Test Automation Framework.
Work collaboratively with development and other test designers on software and system design which facilitates test automation.
Develop a process to maintain automation scripts and functions.

Required
Software Test Automation experience OR Software Development background.
Excellent programming ability, with strong expertise in one or more of these: Java, C++, VBScript, PERL, API.
Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
Experience in creating test objects using multiple object repositories.
Experience in analyzing functional test cases/requirements/Business scenarios for suitability of Test automation
Review test scripts periodically to ensure robustness and test coverage.
In-depth knowledge of quality management methodologies, principles, metrics and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Software Test Automation experience OR Software Development background.
Excellent programming ability, with strong expertise in one or more of these: Java, C++, VBScript, PERL, API.
Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
Experience in creating test objects using multiple object repositories.
Experience in analyzing functional test cases/requirements/Business scenarios for suitability of Test automation
Review test scripts periodically to ensure robustness and test coverage.
