Host Ryan Seacrest poses with judges Carey, Minaj, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban, and the gang is all here…and all smiles. It sure is quite the different pictures that the Internet has been painting about the Idol judges. Not to mentino, Ryan looks quite pleased to be playing middleman in this Mariah-Nicki sandwich.
Fox also announced the premiere date for Idol's new season, which is actually a two-day event: Wednesday, Jan. 16 and Thursday, Jan. 17.
