Position:Senior/Lead Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst
Location:Orlando FL
Duration:6+month contract
Rate:$35/Hr on Corp to Corp
Description:
This is the seventh project release in the Microsoft Migration HR Program. This project will focus on converting multiple applications to newer supported technology.
The Senior/Lead Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst is responsible for ensuring software quality in Information System's projects. The Senior/Lead SQA Analyst is responsible for all quality assurance (QA) activities throughout the project's life cycle. The Senior/Lead SQA Analyst works closely with the Project Leadership team to ensure QA activities are planned and executed. The Senior/Lead SQA Analyst must be competent in Publix's software testing methodologies, procedures, and testing tools.
We have significant testing demand in the HR portfolio for the remainder of 2012 and the first half of 2013. This position will be used to provide test leadership to several of the projects in the Microsoft migration portion of our portfolio as well as other small projects as time allows. Existing resources are dedicated to new Stock, Learning Management, OASIS, and Passport releases. The individual selected must be able to analyze the functions of a system and design a test approach and test cases without a lot of requirements. The systems are under a technical upgrade so we have to do full regression testing but some of the systems are old and have no prior enterprise materials to leverage. The resource will have access to system subject matter experts and to business area resources on a somewhat limited basis for help in planning and design.
Due to 2013 Portfolio demand, it is likely that one additional 6-month (1,000 hour) extension may be required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Target candidates that have 4 – 7 years experience in software testing and quality assurance.
5 years experience in the Senior/Lead SQA Analyst position is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience is preferred .
