Penn Badgley grew impatient after he and girlfriend Zoe Kravitz were held up by airport security on Friday afternoon. The lovebirds were heading to Los Angeles from New York. Our spy reports they were in the security line at JFK "being very cute and couple-y, and kissing in plain sight." After taking off their shoes and placing their belongings in bins to be scanned, the stars walked through the body scanner. But a casually dressed Kravitz was stopped by an officer. "She was held back for about 10 minutes for unknown reasons," our spy told us. As others were allowed to walk ahead, the "Gossip Girl" actor grew frustrated because he thought they were going to miss their flight. "He tried to reason with the security guard to let Zoe through. The security guard told him to go stand at the end of the security conveyor belt, so he did as he was told," our witness reports. Security finally let them through with minutes to spare, and the two of them gathered their belongings and high-tailed it to their plane right before the doors closed. Badgley is currently filming a new season of "Gossip Girl," while Kravitz appears in the upcoming "Mad Max 4: Fury Road." Reps for both actors declined to comment last night.
