Description:
This position is responsible for evaluating load and performance based non-functional requirements for load and performance testing; designing, developing, & creating L&P test plans and cases based on non-functional requirements and technical understanding of product architecture; assisting in the execution of various load & performance tests according to approved test plans and testing schedule; troubleshooting, in conjunction with end users and development teams, on issues of reproducing, investigating and debugging software; generating defect reports for issues found during testing, and providing accurate testing status to project stakeholders; focusing on project quality issues, but also makes contributions beyond immediate assignments; possessing broad overall knowledge of business applications; working independently; managing multiple testing projects concurrently.

4 years of testing experience with a degree or 6 years of testing experience.
Experience with load and performance testing methodology, L&P test case/test scenario creation, and non-functional requirements decomposition
Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to work in teams
Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with initiative and accountability
Knowledge of testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience with automated testing tools like Performance Center and RPT is a plus.
Experience with requirements review and manual test verification and results/metrics/KPI reporting or reporting software.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as part of a team and independently.
Ability to manage time while working on multiple projects.
Health insurance industry experience
Experience with load and performance testing methodology, L&P test case/test scenario creation, and non-functional requirements decomposition

Prepare and design L&P test plans and test cases (of moderate and high complexity) covering multiple business functions and/or platforms based on customer and software requirements and technical understanding of product architecture.
Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements.
Verify accuracy of test results and document results.
Document defects in defect tracking system.
Reproduce, investigate, and debug software issues.
Develop and maintain project test deliverables in adherence to defined methodology
