Position:WEB DEVELOPER Onsite
Location:Phoenix, AZ
Duration:6 months
Rate:$38/hr on 1099 Or C2C Max
WEB DEVELOPER
The contractor shall have a thorough knowledge of database systems both in architecture, development and maintenance.
The contractor shall have thorough knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008 programming and have experience in developing a user interface system.
The contractor shall have a thorough knowledge of web programming using HTML, ASP and JavaScript languages as well as experience using CMS tools such as .NET Nuke.
The Contractor shall have a thorough knowledge in problem solving and trouble shooting both database and programming and business problems.
The contractor shall have a thorough knowledge of report development and data manipulation as well as data validation.
Experience with government regulatory agencies as well as processes for regulatory licensing, compliance and field-testing.
The contractor shall have experience with web site creation, setup and management.
SPECIFIED REQUIREMENTS
Develop New Database User Interface Screen Elements
The contractor shall have a full understanding of the SQL language and be able to generate ad hoc queries and make any necessary modifications to the existing tables.
The contractor will be expected to work closely with the end users in order to determine the most logical methods for adapting workflow to the web interface of the database.
If required, the contractor shall develop a questionnaire in order to define the needs of the user or users. Take the information from the questionnaire, analyze it, and put forth a proposal. Then, implement the final proposal using existing user web pages or creating new ones.
Perform Maintenance on the Database
The contractor shall perform all required maintenance on the database in order to keep it working smoothly, and to ensure data integrity, during development. Maintenance will be performed according to a schedule developed by the contractor and the Department.
The contractor shall be able to identify corrupt data and make the needed corrections to it in order to ensure data integrity.
Develop Reports
The contractor shall work with the end users to develop reports using web tools for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Database Management
The contractor shall conduct periodic reviews of the database during development to evaluate the integrity of the data.
During development and testing, the contractor shall maintain on staff backup personnel to assist the Department in times when the system experiences problems. The contract shall respond to the Departments needs in a timely manner in order to reduce down time.
