Description:
This position will require development as well as white- and black-box testing experience.
The candidate will be responsible for testing general purpose tools that are developed to aid the group's day to day business. Candidate will also be responsible for testing a web-based application which is used to ingest raw data and presents it to the end user on a GUI. The testing will include black-box testing and verifying that data has been properly inserted into a database. Position is located in the Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego.
This position will require development as well as white- and black-box testing experience.

Must haves:
" 5+ years of QA experience
" QA application development for a LAMP environment (good technical knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP)
" Understand QA methodologies with white box testing
" Worked with Java code - must have in depth knowledge of Java- don't need to read the code but understand what to do with it when given a piece of java code
" Must have Selenium experience
" Must be an advocate for Open Source
" Must be able to take direction and do what is asked of them
Pluses:
" Grey box testing experience
