Our client seeks a Unix/Linux Engineer with networking experience responsible for supporting the infrastructure required for deployment of applications. You must have an appetite for learning and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. This is an opportunity to participate in various aspects of administration and general IT support.
5+ years Unix/Linux Administration
RedHat and Solaris (Must have worked with the newest Solaris boxes
Hands-on experience with: networking, routers, patch, switches, firewalls, multiplexers
Hands-on database experience (Oracle)
Provide lab support and trouble shooting
Cable industry experience, a plus
Systems programming experience, a plus
Team player with the ability to multitask
