Job Description:
> Has a solid working knowledge of capabilities and direction of Cognos, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the technology required and the needs of business environment necessary to support assigned projects
> Ability to design solutions to meet business needs that reflect a clear understanding of the objectives as well as the technology
> Can articulate technical solutions and work with architects and developers to create an efficient and effective application design
> Has a mastery of application design skills, methods and tools
> Strong communication skills both written and verbal, ability to tailor message to different audiences
> Ability to direct team in achievement of team objectives,
> Pushes back in a professional manner when things do not make sense or there is a better way to accomplish the objectives
> Facilitates and/or participates in the design/development process.
