Melanie Brown finally has an answer to our question.
"We don't have a name yet," the Spice Girl told E! News on Friday when asked what she had named her bouncing newborn daughter. Hubby Stephen Belafonte chimed in, "We wanted to live with her for a day to see what name fits her best. Right now, we are calling her beautiful!"
Well, that's cute and all, but we wanted a name! And, now we've got one...
Madison Brown Belafonte is the latest addition to the Spice World, a source confirmed to E! News today.
Mel B tweeted Saturday that her eldest daughter wanted in on the naming action: "Phoenix wants to pick her sisters baby name,so fingers crossed she picks a good one!!" Soon after, she added, "Phoenix has named our baby girl the cutest name,can't wait for you guys to hear it,soon ma peeps!!"
But then, on Monday: "Phoenix my daughter is still deciding our babies name,i don't wanna rush her,it will be soon!"
Not too shabby for an 11-year-old.
Most importantly, however, before we knew her name was Madison, Brown told E! News that her newest little girl was doing well.
"The doctor said the baby is really, really healthy," she said.
We were glad to hear then and we're glad to hear now. Congrats to the whole family!
