{blackbabes} 'Charlie's Angels': First (unofficial) pics from the set

For some reason -- probably because there are no new ideas left in the world -- ABC insists on rebooting the "Charlie's Angels" franchise for a younger demographic with Rachel Taylor, Minka Kelly and Annie Ilonzeh. Now we're getting the first peek of the updated "Angels" thanks to a set of unofficial photos snapped on the show's Miami set.

Judging by the photos alone (a dodgy call, but still) the show looks more like a "Sex and the City" spin-off than anything resembling the awesome '70s-era drama that starred Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, Jacklyn Smith and, eventually, Cheryl Ladd.

And we'd know. Because we were really into "Charlie's Angels" -- the only show we were allowed to stay up past bedtime to watch surrounded by our Angel action figures who may or may not have been hanging out in their officially-licensed Charlie's Angels Hideaway House (TM).

We were also thoroughly satisfied with the 2000 and 2003 movies starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu as the "Angels."

Here's an idea: Why not resurrect "Love Boat" or "Fantasy Island" or one of the other gazillion old shows languishing in our collective nostalgia?
