Black Eyed Peas star Fergie has ruled out plans to return to her solo career and work on new material, insisting a second album is not in her "near future".
The Glamorous hitmaker stepped into the limelight on her own in 2006 when she released her debut disc The Dutchess, and she recently lent her vocals to rock icon Slash's track Beautiful Dangerous.
But the singer is in no rush to hit the studio without her bandmates and she's instead focusing on their upcoming project The Beginning.
When asked about a follow-up to The Dutchess, she tells MTV.com, "Definitely, in my lifetime, (but) not in the near future, no."
The Beginning is set for release at the end of the month.
