{blackbabes} Eminem vs. Justin Bieber at the American Music Awards

Eminem and country artists Lady Antebellum are the leading nominees for the 2010 American Music Awards, and Justin Bieber is right behind them.

The AMAs announced this year's nominee slate Tuesday (Oct. 12). Eminem and Bieber will be competing against each other in three categories: artist of the year, favorite male artist and favorite album. The other artist of the year nominees are Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Ke$ha.

Lady Antebellum, meanwhile, is up for favorite album, favorite adult contemporary artist, two awards in the country categories and the breakthrough artist award. Perry, Ke$ha and Usher -- who will also perform at the awards -- also have multiple nominations.

Bon Jovi and Pink will also perform at the Nov. 21 show, which will air on ABC.
