Naomi Campbell just can't escape the haters. Some fashion insiders characterized the supermodel's involvement in Tuesday's Fashion's Night Out runway show as "difficult." Sources claimed that when Vogue reached out to Campbell to participate, her camp demanded she appear on an upcoming cover. But Campbell's people deny it. "Everything went as planned," said a Campbell rep.

In the end, she closed the show at Lincoln Center in an Oscar de la Renta gown. A rep for IMG Models, which reps Campbell, said she "was very happy to walk in the FNO Vogue show." The magazine, too, maintains Campbell was a welcome addition and caused no problems. "Naomi was on time, professional and a joy to work with," said Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour in a statement.
