Rihanna is not having a good week.

After cancelling her Monday night Grammys appearance last-minute due to bronchitis, the singer postponed the first eight stops on her ANTI world tour due to production delays, originally scheduled to begin on Feb. 26 in San Diego, the singer's spokeswoman Amanda Silverman confirmed to USA TODAY.

The tour will now begin on March 12 in Jacksonville, Fla., with the first eight tour stops — San Diego, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Phoenix, New Orleans, Oakland and San Jose, Calif. — rescheduled for May. Tickets from the originally scheduled shows will be honored for the new dates.

Earlier this week, Rihanna cancelled her scheduled performance at the Grammys after a doctor put her on two days of vocal rest to protect her voice. She apologized to fans on her Twitter:

"Based on Rihanna's examination after Grammy rehearsal today, (her) doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal cords. The antibiotics she has been on for three days did not kill the infection adequately. Therefore she cannot perform safely," Silverman told USA TODAY.
