{blackbabes} Alicia Keys details in new memoir being ‘manipulated’ by photographer at 19

At 19 years old, Alicia Keys says she felt "manipulated" and "objectified" by a photographer who made her open her shirt and pull down the top of her jeans.

Keys, 39, detailed the photoshoot in her new memoir, "More Myself," writing that the shutterbug convinced her team he needed to photograph her alone and then told her, "Open up your shirt a little" and "Pull the top of your jeans down a bit in the front."

"My spirit is screaming that something is wrong, that this feels sleazy. But my protests, lodged in the back of my throat, can't make their way out," Keys writes. "I swallow my misgivings, tuck my thumb between the denim and my skin, and obey."

The singer, who at the time was preparing for the release of her debut album "Songs in A Minor," says she went home and cried after the shoot.

"This isn't about me showing some skin, which I'll do on my own terms, for my own purposes, in the coming years," she writes. "It's about feeling manipulated. It's about being objectified."

She said her manager at the time was appalled when he saw the magazine cover a few months later and Keys says she didn't recognize the woman in the photo and was "embarrassed" and "ashamed" of it.

"I now understand why the photographer wanted my team out of that room," she writes. "A nineteen-year-old girl is more pliable than a set of her grown-ass managers."

On the day of the magazine's release, she said she wanted to throw up when she saw it on newsstands.

"I swear that I'll never again let someone rob me of my power," Keys writes, adding, "It's a promise I still work to keep."

{blackbabes} Meghan Markle To Voice ‘Elephant’ Documentary For Disney+

Disney+ documentary Elephant is getting a royal voiceover after the streamer confirmed that Meghan Markle is to narrate the film.

The doc, produced by Disneynature, will launch on the digital platform on April 3.

This comes after her husband, Prince Harry, was overheard to have to lobbied former Disney CEO Bob Iger to help his wife get voiceover work. Disney noted that the film would be narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, one of the last times that she will be able to use that title before she gives it up at the end of the month.

Directed by Mark Linfield, co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz and Alastair Fothergill, and produced by Mark Linfield, Vanessa Berlowitz and Roy Conli, Elephant follows African elephant Shani and her son Jomo as their herd make a journey hundreds of miles across the vast Kalahari Desert. Led by their matriarch, Gaia, the family faces brutal heat, dwindling resources and persistent predators, as they follow in their ancestor's footsteps on a quest to reach a lush, green paradise.

Elsewhere, Disney+ has also dated Dolphin Reef, narrated by Natalie Portman. The film will launch alongside Elephant on April 3. Dolphin Reef dives under the sea to frolic with some of the planet's most engaging animals: dolphins. The film introduces Echo, a young Pacific bottlenose dolphin who can't quite decide if it's time to grow up and take on new responsibilities. Dolphin society is tricky, and the coral reef that Echo and his family call home depends on all of its inhabitants to keep it healthy. But Echo has a tough time resisting the many adventures the ocean has to offer. Keith Scholey, who directed Disneynature's Bears, helms the film.

{blackbabes} Elton John To Host Fox Concert Special For Coronavirus Relief Effort With Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw, Mariah Carey & More

Fox and iHeartMedia are bringing out some big guns in the coronavirus relief effort. Elton John is to host Fox Presents The iHeart Living Room Concert for America, an hourlong special set to air commercial-free from 9-10 p.m. Sunday, March 29 — in the slot that had been set for the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The program comes at a time when concerts have been sidelined by the COVID-19 outbreak and many artists are giving free concerts online. It will feature performances by such stars as Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw, Backstreet Boys, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and others — all filmed from their homes using their own audio and video equipment. The special will be simulcast on iHeartMedia stations nationwide and its app.

The iHeart Living Room Concert for America also will pay tribute to the front-line health professionals, first responders and local heroes who are putting themselves in harm's way to help their neighbors and fight the spread of the coronavirus. It also will encourage viewers to support Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation — two of the many charitable organizations helping victims and first responders during the pandemic.

With forebears including the post-9/11 America: A Tribute to Heroes and the six-hour 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief, the new special is executive produced by John Sykes and Tom Poleman for iHeartMedia and Tenth Planet Productions' Joel Gallen, who produced A Tribute to Heroes and the multi-network telethons immediately following Hurricane Katrina and the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

{blackbabes} Rihanna donates $5M to coronavirus relief via Clara Lionel Foundation

Rihanna is doing her part to combat the spread and overall effects of coronavirus by donating $5 million to the cause via her Clara Lionel Foundation.

The singer, 32, made the multi-million dollar pledge to support several organizations in need, including food banks in at-risk communities throughout the US. It will also go toward supporting medical staffers with protective equipment, critical respiratory supplies, maintenance of intensive care units and will aid in the development of vaccines and other methods to fight the virus globally, TMZ reports.

"Never has it been more important or urgent to protect and prepare marginalized and underserved communities — those who will be hit hardest by this pandemic," CLF Executive Director Justine Lucas told the outlet.

The "Fenty Beauty" creator founded the Clara Lionel Foundation in honor of her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite, in 2012. Her annual Diamond Ball supports the organization, which funds global education, health and emergency response programs for children around the world.

{blackbabes} Serena Williams reveals social distancing is causing her anxiety

Serena Williams has opened up about how difficult she is finding social distancing.

The 23-time grand slam singles champion revealed on Instagram more than a week ago that she planned to spend six weeks at home because of the coronavirus crisis.

And, in a post on TikTok, Williams explained she is struggling to deal with the anxiety that she is feeling.

The 38-year-old said: "I wanted to take a minute and talk about my experience with corona. It started out with me feeling like, 'Oh it can't really affect me'.

"And then suddenly Indian Wells was cancelled and I was like, 'Oh, OK, that's weird but I have a little time off and I'm going to enjoy that time off.

"And then one cancellation led to another and then led to another and led to all this anxiety that I'm feeling.

"Now I've been social distancing for actually a really long time, for probably two weeks now, and every little thing makes me crazy.

"And by anxiety I mean I'm just on edge. Any time anyone sneezes around me or coughs I get crazy. I don't hang out with anyone, and when I say anyone I mean my daughter.

"She coughed, I got angry and gave her a side-eye. I gave her that 'angry Serena' and then I got sad.

"I was like, 'Is she ok? Is there something wrong with my daughter? Is there anything I can do?' I just don't know what to do, so instead of being relaxed I'm really under a ton of stress."

The ATP and WTA announced earlier this week that there will be no tournaments until June, with the whole of the clay-court season called off.

Meanwhile, recently-retired Caroline Wozniacki revealed she had been unable to go home from a trip to Africa.

Accompanied by a photo showing the Dane and husband David Lee in masks, Wozniacki wrote on Instagram: "We got stuck in Africa but finally on our way home! Going to self quarantine as soon as we get back! Stay safe everyone!"

Clare-Hope Ashitey Adrianna Mitchell Pepi Sonuga

Written by McGhee and to be directed by Stephen Williams, Harlem's Kitchen is set in a fine dining restaurant in Harlem and centers on Ellis Rice (Lindo), Executive Chef and patriarch, who runs a successful restaurant with his wife CC (Sheryl Lee Ralph) and three daughters. But an unexpected death thrusts the family into turmoil and puts the restaurant's future in jeopardy as long-buried secrets are revealed.

Ashitey's Zadie is perfect. Perfect life. Perfect little baby. Perfect husband. Ivy League educated, Zadie could work anywhere she wants, but her perpetual sense of responsibility brought her back to RICE as the front-of-house manager. {blackbabes} Katy Keene First Look: Josie's Mom Brings Some Riverdale Drama to NYC

Katy Keene Crossover

Robin Givens is dropping by Katy Keene on Thursday (The CW, 8/7c) for a mini McCoy family reunion, but it won't be all drag shows and surprise musical numbers.

TVLine has an exclusive first look (above) at a seemingly tense mother-daughter exchange between Sierra and Josie in Chubby's Record Shop. And although we haven't screened the episode yet, something tells us their conversation involves Alexander. Or his sister. Or both.

But this episode, appropriately titled "Mama Said," isn't the first time we've seen Riverdale and Katy Keene characters sharing the screen. Let's not forget that Lucy Hale's titular fashionista was introduced to us in a Season 4 episode of Riverdale via her old school pal, Camila Mandes' Veronica. (And if this picture of KJ Apa and Zane Holtz is any indication, it won't be the last Katydale crossover we see.)

Other than Riverdale's former mayor coming to town, here's what else we can expect from Thursday's episode, per the official synopsis: "With Katy trying to move on from KO, she once again throws herself into her work, which turns out to be a sticky situation with her clients. Pepper is confronted about what she is up to but is surprised about the proposal she receives instead. Jorge learns he might be losing his coveted performance spot at Molly's Crisis to the winner of a drag queen pageant, so Jorge decides to enter Ginger and is surprised by his mother's reaction."

{blackbabes} Time - 2003: Serena Williams

After winning the 2003 Australian Open, Serena Williams became just the fifth woman in tennis history to hold the titles of all four Grand Slam tournaments—the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open—at the same time. She gave her feat an alliterative flourish that neatly spoke truth to her power: the Serena Slam. Williams even bested her closest confidante, older sister Venus, in the final of all four of those major championships. "I'd kind of like to be just like her," said Venus, at the time a four-time Grand Slam winner, after that Aussie Open final.

Williams was just 21 years old. If she'd peaked then, she would have earned accolades as an all-time great. But nearly two decades and 23 major titles—a record for the Open era—later, she has more clout than ever.

Her influence extends far beyond the baseline. Critics have called her racist names and tried to shame her for her muscular frame. But Williams has embraced her body, and her blackness, with the same force as one of her two-handed backhands: even her occasional outbursts at umpires spark national debates about decorum and double standards.

She's battled injuries and life-threatening illnesses, including a complicated delivery of her daughter Olympia in 2017. Months later, however, Williams returned to the women's tour, at 36, as the world's most famous working mom. She's since reached the finals of four major events, showing that women can embrace motherhood and a job as time-consuming and physically grueling as professional tennis.

In her decades of greatness, Williams has inspired a new generation of tennis talent, young women of color who, like her, dared to take up what's long been a lily-white sport. Rising stars Naomi Osaka, 22, and Coco Gauff, 15, idolized Williams. Gauff grew up in Florida with her poster on her wall. Williams has not only taken women's tennis to new heights. She has secured her legacy in the generations that will follow her.

This article is part of 100 Women of the Year, TIME's list of the most influential women of the past century.

{blackbabes} Pitch's Kylie Bunbury Scores Lead Role in David E. Kelley Drama The Big Sky

Kylie Bunbury Big Sky

Just days after Vikings vet Katheryn Winnick joined ABC's The Big Sky, the network has found her co-lead in Pitch's Kylie Bunbury, TVLine has learned.

Based on C.J. Box's 2013 novel The Highway, The Big Sky — which snagged a series order in January — is a procedural thriller that centers on private detective Cassie Dewell (played by Bunbury) and ex-cop Jenny Hoyt (Winnick), who team up on a search for two sisters that were kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana.

But when Cassie and Jenny learn that more girls in the area have disappeared, "they must race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken," per the official description.

Bunbury's Cassie is an ex-rodeo rider turned private detective, and she's also the junior partner of Cody Hoyt (Shooter's Ryan Phillippe) at their firm, Hoyt and Dewell. The ensemble also includes John Carroll Lynch (American Horror Story) and Dedee Pfeiffer (Cybill), while David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies) will write and executive-produce the drama series.

In addition to her turn as pro baseball player Ginny Baker on the one-and-done Pitch, Bunbury has appeared in When They See Us, Under the Dome and Twisted. She'll also co-star in the Brave New World series adaptation coming to Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming service.

{blackbabes} ‘The Lost Boys’: Rochelle Aytes To Star In The CW Reboot Pilot

Rochelle Aytes

Rochelle Aytes (Mistresses) has been tapped as a lead in The Lost Boys, the CW's retooled pilot from Heather Mitchell and Rob Thomas based on the 1987 Warner Bros. movie.

In The Lost Boys, written by Mitchell and Thomas and directed by Marcos Siega, when a mother, Jackie (Aytes) and her Gen Z sons, Garrett (Branden Cook) and Levi, move to the seaside town where she grew up, they discover there's a sinister reason the local cool kids sleep all day, party all night, never grow up and never get old. Family bonds are tested as the brothers find themselves on opposite sides of a mythological struggle.

Aytes' Jackie, the single mother of Garrett and Levi, has just moved back to the North Carolina seaside town she abandoned more than 20 years ago. Now she's returning to take over her dad's bed and breakfast, and perhaps, rekindle an old high school flame. Aytes plays a version of the character played by Dianne Wiest in the film.

In addition Cook, Aytes joins previously cast Lincoln Younes and Ruby Cruz who play versions of Kiefer Sutherland's and Jami Gertz's character in the movie, respectively.

Mitchell and Siega executive produce alongside Thomas and Dan Etheridge of Spondoolie Productions; as well as Mike Karz and Bill Bindley of Gulfstream Television. Spondoolie's Rebecca Franko and Gulfstream's Juliana Janes serve as producers.

Former Mistresses star Aytes recently produced and starred in Miss Havisham Effect, played a lead in Netflix's Dolly Parton's Heartstrings anthology, did a season-long arc on USA's The Purge and recurred on CBS' S.W.A.T. She is repped by Innovative Artists, Zero Gravity Management, and attorney Jeff Endlich.
