People is teaming up with NBC and Dick Clark Productions for the first People Magazine Awards.

The two-hour special, to air in late 2014, will recognize the year's most influential and talked-about celebrities in pop cultur. Some of the categories include Biggest Phenomenon of 2014, Most Popular Person, Most Stylish Person, Funniest Person, Sexiest Woman of 2014 and more.

"There is no better barometer of the cultural events and top personalities of the world than People magazine," Paul Telegdy, NBC's president of alternative and late night programming, said in a statement. "This awards show will bring to light all who have broken through the clutter to make their voices heard throughout the year."
