Considering Jay-Z is writing the score for "The Great Gatsby," it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to learn that Beyonce is going to contribute to the movie's soundtrack. It's being reported that Queen Bey and Andre 3000 will record a cover of Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" for the Baz Luhrmann film.
E! News got the scoop about the song, and was informed by Interscope Records that "it's a very different take on 'Back to Black.'" Considering Luhrmann's films' frenetic style, it's anyone's guess how the track will be incorporated.
This is the second time Beyonce and Andre 3000 have worked together. They also collaborated on the 2011 single "Party." "The Great Gatsby" stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan. It's due in theaters on May 10.
