Janet Jackson has signed a long-term deal with France-based independent music company Believe that sees her entire catalog moving to the company's recently launched publishing division.

Jackson needs no introduction but has won five Grammy Awards, two Emmys, a Golden Globe and been nominated for an Oscar, along with dozens of American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and others. She has sold an estimated 180 million records worldwide, according to the announcement.

Believe's CEO of Publishing Chris Meehan added: "Janet Jackson is truly a one-of-a-kind artist, with a strong vision for her music and where she wants to drive her career. She brings an iconic and rich catalogue to Believe Music Publishing and I couldn't be more excited for what's to come."

+ Warner Chappell Music Scandinavia has signed veteran Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li, whose new album, "The Afterparty," is set for a May 8 release.  The agreement covers her upcoming body of work.

Lars Karlsson, Managing Director, Warner Chappell Music Scandinavia, said: "Lykke Li is a generational talent who has consistently pushed the boundaries of pop music, not just in the Nordics but on the global stage. We are thrilled to be working with her during this pivotal chapter of her career."

+ Big Loud Texas Publishing and Sony Music Publishing have signed Big Loud Texas artist Julianna Rankin. Alongside the announce, Rankin releases her second song via Big Loud Texas "Little Miss Behavin'" produced by Big Loud Texas co-founders, Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall.

"We're thrilled to welcome Julianna to the Big Loud Texas Publishing family," said Lizzy Rector, publishing director if Big Loud Publishing. "She has a voice and storytelling perspective that is rooted and real and we couldn't be more excited to be a part of what's ahead."

"We couldn't be more excited to welcome Julianna Rankin into the Sony Music Publishing family alongside Big Loud Texas," says Anna Weisband, SVP, Creative A&R, Sony Music Publishing Nashville. "She's the definition of heart and soul. Her songwriting is full of true storytelling, personality, and grit. We can't wait to help share that with the world!"

+ The Core Entertainment has expanded its leadership team with two key hires: Sarah Pfeiffer joins as head of marketing, and Gabriella Pulley has been named chief of staff. Both Pfeiffer and Pulley will be based in Nashville and report to Core Entertainment's CEOs and co-founders Simon Tikhman and Chief Zaruk. Pfeiffer arrives from Columbia Records, where she worked for eight years with such artists as Harry Styles, Ella Langley, Rosalia and Tyler, the Creator; Pulley most recently served as day-to-day manager at 7s Management, where she worked with Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and, earlier in her career, Zach Bryan.

The company, which now has nearly 30 staffers across Nashville and Los Angeles, spans management, label, publishing and partnerships; its roster includes Dan + Shay, Bailey Zimmerman, Nickelback and others.

Tikhman and Zaruk said: "Sarah is an incredibly sharp and thoughtful marketing executive who really understands how to build campaigns around artists in a meaningful way, and Gabriella brings a level of organization, leadership and calm that is so valuable as a company grows. Just as importantly, they're both great people, and culture matters a lot to us. We've been very intentional about building this team, and these are the kind of hires that make us better."

+ 1916 Enterprises has named Matt Vandini (formerly of Sony Music and Ultra Records) as Marketing Director and Matt Nardone (formerly A&R at Kobalt Music) as A&R for Management & Publishing. Additionally, longtime team member Mikey Alessie has been promoted and Bella Ronzio moves into an expanded role after quickly becoming an integral part of the team.

"Matt and Matt bring a rare combination of creative instinct and executional strength, and Mikey and Bella represent the next generation of leadership within 1916," says founder Jonathan Gordon. "This team positions us to expand our services and deliver meaningful impact for our artists and partners."

+ Music technology company AudioSalad has named Björn Sandberg to the newly created position of Head of Commercial Marketing. Based in London, he will report to CEO Iain Catling; he was previously head of streaming at Domino Records and, earlier in his career, held senior roles at FUGA as well as at independent labels Marathon Artists, Thrill Jockey Records and Electric Honey.

AudioSalad provides content management, analytics, delivery, and distribution services for artists, labels, rightsholders, and distributors such as ATO Records, Exceleration Music, Foundation Media, Mad Decent, Mushroom Group, NBCUniversal, Redeye, Secretly Distribution, Sparta, Stones Throw, and many more.

"Björn's experience and deep understanding of commercial marketing in today's complex marketplace make him a tremendous addition to our team," said Catling. "His expertise further strengthens our distribution capabilities as we continue building best-in-class services for artists, creators, and labels."

+ Avex Music Group has announced a global music publishing administration partnership with 16-time Grammy Award-winner — and Variety's Hitmakers 2025 songwriter of the year — Bruno Mars. Under the agreement, Avex Music Group will serve as the exclusive global music publishing administrator for music written by Mars during the term of the deal which will commence upon the completion of his current deal with BMG/Warner Chappell.

"Bruno Mars is one of the most culturally impactful songwriters of his generation," said Katsumi Kuroiwa, CEO of Avex Inc. "We are honored to partner with him and support his future works through this global publishing relationship."

Brandon Silverstein, CEO of Avex Music Group, added: "We are thrilled to welcome Bruno to Avex and look forward to supporting his incredible songs."

Dan Goldberg has joined the company as senior VP of strategy & new ventures. In this newly created role, he will lead strategy and business development across Bravado, expanding into new verticals, and developing innovative partnerships across music, sports, brands and broader culture. In his prior roles, Goldberg previously built and led the Music & Entertainment division at Fanatics and served as SVP of Warner Music Artist Services (now WMX).

Amy Zaglauer has been promoted to senior VP of artist strategy. She joined Bravado in 2021 after artist services and brand management roles at Warner Music Group, Atlantic Records and Fueled By Ramen.

Rachel Redfearn will continue in her role as senior VP of A&R based in London, a position she has held since 2023.

UMG COO Boyd Muir commented: "Creating products for superfans is integral to how artists express their creative vision and forge lasting connections beyond the music itself. Matt leads an expert, nimble team that moves quickly with the market, while staying closely aligned with each artist's needs, ambitions, and identity. These appointments underscore our continued commitment to expanding opportunities for artists to engage and grow with their biggest fans."

+ Following last month's relaunch of Big Machine Records, founder and chairman Scott Borchetta has announces a new management division of the newly launched Borchetta Entertainment Group by signing award-winning country artist Carly Pearce. Mike Blong, formerly of Starstruck Entertainment and Pearce's day-to-day manager since 2022, joins as manager.

"I couldn't think of a better way to kick off this new era of Big Machine then by announcing the formation of the Borchetta Entertainment Group and a new management vertical, starting with the Grammy/CMA/ACM award-winning Carly Pearce and her longtime management partner, Mike Blong," says Borchetta. "This new season for Carly, starting with the amazing new Riley Green duet, 'If I Don't Leave I'm Gonna Stay,' promises to be her best yet."

+ TMWRK management company has promoted partner and executive vice president Renee Brodeur to general manager, effective immediately. Brodeur, who has been with the company for more than a decade, currently co-manages Diplo, Major Lazer and A-Trak with CEO and founder Andrew McInnes as well as well as managing Chicago based duo Drama and producer Kito.

"Renee has been an essential member of TMWRK for more than 14 years," adds McInnes. "I'm excited to have her step into the roll of GM and continue to grow the business together across all aspects of the entertainment business. We're lucky to have her."

+ Republic Records has named Touré Shiver as VP of marketing strategy. Based in New York, Shiver joins from Columbia Records, where he worked closely with such artists as Tyler, the Creator and Pharrell Williams. At Republic, he will work across marketing efforts for artists on the hip-hop/R&B roster, including Ayra Starr, DC The Don, DJ Khaled, Jacquees, John Legend and more.

CMO Donna Gryn said, "We're excited to welcome Touré Shiver. His creative vision, cultural insight, and artist-first approach make him an outstanding addition. And personally, I'm looking forward to tapping into his well-known sushi expertise." EVP Xiarra-Diamon Nimrod added, "Touré Shiver brings a rare combination of creative instinct, cultural fluency and he genuinely cares about the artists he works with. We're really excited to have him join the team and can't wait to see the perspective he brings to what we're building."

+ Nikos Kazoleas has joined leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency as an Agent in the Global Touring division. He will be based in CAA's London office. Previously, he was a Music Agent at UTA, where he spent more than a decade working with such artists as Sombr, Chezile, Gayle, Rebecca Black and others.

"Nikos is a fantastic addition to our team, with a strong track record and deep relationships across the live business," said Mike Greek, Co-Head of CAA's London office. "As touring continues to expand, bringing him into our Global Touring department strengthens our ability to create meaningful opportunities and deliver exceptional results for our artists worldwide."

+ Universal Music Group has made a strategic investment in the Thailand-based label What the Duck, in a deal that will also see founder Moy Samkwan Tonsompong joining Universal Music Thailand as managing director while remaining closely involved with What the Duck. Co-founders Chichaya Karnasuta and Torpong Chantabubpha will remain key members of the WTD team.

Founded in 2014, WTD's roster has included such artists as the Toys, Bowkylion, Musketeers, and Whal & Dolph, as well as newer artists Landokmai, Purpeech, and Mirrr.

Adam Granite, UMG's CEO for Africa, Middle East and Asia, said: "This is an exciting next step in our strategy to expand our presence in fast-growing markets. I am delighted to 'unite' the WTD and UMG families and look forward to working closely with Moy and the team delivering success in Thailand and beyond.

Reigning French Open champion Coco Gauff advanced to the third round of the WTA and ATP Miami Open on Friday, rallying to defeat Italy's Elisabetta Cocciaretto 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.

Rain disrupted early afternoon play several times at Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL's Miami Dolphins, before American fourth seed Gauff fought back to reach the third round.

"The last time we played I didn't win, so I just wanted to overcome that feeling," said Gauff, who fell to the Italian last month in Doha.

It was Gauff's first match since she retired in the middle of a third-round match 12 days ago at Indian Wells with a "scary" left arm injury.

"It has been a tough week," Gauff said. "I think it made me realize how much I love this sport and love playing it."

Cocciaretto, ranked 44th, broke for a 4-3 lead in the first set on a cross-court backhand winner.

The Italian saved a break point in the eighth game and broke again in the ninth on a forehand winner to take the first set.

"She takes the ball so early, you don't have a lot of time to react," Gauff said of her success on longer rallies. "Today, once I got adjusted to the tempo of play I was able to control the rallies when they went the distance."

After an early exchange of breaks in the second set, Gauff broke for a 5-4 lead when Cocciaretto hit a forehand long and then held serve for the set.

In the third, Gauff netted a forehand to surrender a break and give Cocciaretto a 2-0 lead.

But the American broke back in the third game and took a 3-2 edge when Cocciaretto sent a backhand long.

Gauff broke in the ninth game for the victory in two hours and 15 minutes, converting her third match point when the Italian sent a forehand long.

Gauff advanced to a third-round match against American Alycia Parks, who ousted Greece's Maria Sakkari 6-3, 6-3.

On the men's side, American Ethan Quinn upset Norway's 11th-seeded Casper Ruud 6-4, 7-6 (9/7).

World number 56 Quinn, a 22-year-old former US college champion, saved seven set points in the second set on the way to victory.

American sixth seed Amanda Anisimova outlasted Australia's Ajla Tomljanovic 6-1, 5-7, 6-4 to reach the third round.

Anisimova will next face Ukraine's Yuliia Starodubtseva, who advanced when Spaniard Cristina Bucsa retired trailing 6-2, 3-2.

- Alcaraz faces Fonseca -

Top-ranked defending champion Aryna Sabalenka faced 39th-ranked American Ann Li in a match moved to the third show court as organizers hustled to get the rain-hit tournament back on schedule.

That paved the way for an only slightly delayed night session featuring world number one Carlos Alcaraz playing his second-round opener against Brazilian teen Joao Fonseca.

The 22-year-old Spaniard, who completed a career Grand Slam with his seventh major title at the Australian Open, is 16-1 on the season after a title in Doha was followed by his semi-final exit in Indian Wells.

Women's world number two Elena Rybakina, the reigning Australian Open champion who lost last weekend's Indian Wells final to Sabalenka, faces 75th-rated Kazakhstan compatriot Yulia Putintseva in the final Stadium Court match.

We can tell you first that Lionsgate has acquired Ride or Die, a romantic buddy action-comedy with Marlon Wayans and Keke Palmer attached to star.

The feature project centers on robbery detective Martin Banks (Wayans), a consummate professional, and narcotics detective and unapologetic butt-kicker Tami Moore (Palmer). Sparks and bullets fly when these opposites are partnered to track down a billion-dollar cache of deadly opioids stolen from the vault of a multinational pharmaceutical company that threaten to flood the streets of Chicago.

Wayans describes the film, which is being billed as the first romantic buddy-cop action comedy, as When Harry Met Sally with guns.

Wayans wrote the screenplay with Rick Alvarez. Pic will be produced by Wayans and Alvarez through their company Ugly Baby, and by Neal H. Moritz and Toby Ascher through Moritz's Original Film. Palmer and her mother, Sharon Palmer, are also in talks to EP.

Scott O'Brien is overseeing the project for Lionsgate. Robert Melnik negotiated the deals for the studio.

Wayans most recently starred in Him, produced by Jordan Peele, and upcoming stars alongside his fellow original castmates in the anticipated Scary Movie, which he also wrote and produced with Alvarez. The actor is repped by 3 Arts, UTA, and Yorn, Levine. Alvarez is repped by 3 Arts, UTA, and Yorn, Levine.

Palmer's latest movie, I Love Boosters, just had its world premiere at SXSW. That Boots Riley-directed comedy comes out over Memorial Day weekend. Palmer also stars in Peacock's comedy series The Burbs, and was recently honored as the NAACP Image Awards' Entertainer of the Year. Coming out is MGM's Spaceballs 2. She previously starred in One of Them Days, Nope from Jordan Peele, Good Fortune directed by Aziz Ansari, and Amazon's The Pickup alongside Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson. She is a 2023 Emmy winner for NBC's Password with Jimmy Fallon and hosts the award-winning podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer for Wondery. Palmer is represented by 3 Arts and Hertz Lichtenstein Young & Polk.

Original Film is now in production on Highlander with director Chad Stahelski, and on Sonic the Hedgehog 4. The company also has the feature Beach Read for 20th Century, and a live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Paramount. In television, Season 5 of The Boys will premiere next week, and the company is in post-production on the spinoff show S.W.A.T. Exiles, with God of the Woods set to start this summer for Netflix.

Peacock has renewed "Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together" for a second season. Production will begin this month, and the new season is set to air later this year.

The news comes following the first season of the show's successful June 2025 debut, with the series becoming Peacock's second highest-reaching unscripted original freshman series.

"Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together," starring the titular superstar music couple, gives audiences a behind the scenes look at the iconic duo's high-profile lives. The two, who married in 2023, are now the parents of a toddler, meaning they'll have to balance their careers and business ventures with navigating their blended family. "This season offers an intimate look at their next chapter as they navigate love, family and global careers," reads the official logline.

Nelly and Ashanti first met more than two decades ago when they began dating in 2003. While they quietly broke up and reunited in the time since, as of 2026, the two have solidified themselves as a musical power couple. They welcomed their son, KK, in July 2024.

The "Hot In Here" rapper first released his debut solo single in 2000, and has gone on to sing hits including "Ride Wit Me," "Dilemma" and "Just a Dream."  He's been nominated for 12 Grammy Awards, and has won three. Ashanti debuted as a solo artist with "Foolish" in 2002, and went on to earn eight Grammy nominations and one win over the course of her career. She also acted in the 2006 rom-com "John Tucker Must Die."

Both Nelly and Ashanti executive produce, alongside Tina Douglas, J Erving, Rebecca Quinn, Jennifer O'Connell, Nick Alarcon, Steve Michaels, Simon Thomas, Ariel Brozell, Oji Singletary and Asabi Lee. This season is produced by Pantheon Media Group and Velvet Hammer Media.

{blackbabes} ‘Tamron Hall’ Renewed in Daytime as Competition Thins Out, Reveals Season 8 Tagline: ‘Let’s Keep Talking’

TAMRON HALL - Coverage airing on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Tamron Hall airs weekdays in syndication on ABC. (Disney/Jeff Neira) TAMRON HALL

In a landscape where four major daytime talk shows are wrapping this year, Tamron Hall has a different message for her audience: "Let's Keep Talking." That's the timely slogan the host and her team have come up with for Season 8 of "Tamron Hall," which has been renewed for another season by the ABC-owned TV station group — where the show airs in major markets.

News comes just days after Hall was tapped to host this year's Oscars Red Carpet Show on ABC with Jesse Palmer. On Monday, Hall was already back in New York and ready to celebrate the news — which is all the more a victory after seeing a bloodbath this year in daytime (where things have gotten so rough that NBCUniversal pulled out of first-run syndication entirely).

"My vision of where we're going usually comes to me in the middle of night, and all of these changes were happening," Hall told Variety. "And I said, 'Let's Keep Talking.' Season 8. That's our thing. I called our team and I said, 'Let's Keep Talking.' The landscape is always going to change. Some of Conan's jokes at the Oscars where he talked about us watching our phones to consume movies and all of these AI jokes, they landed partly because the industry is fearful of these changes. So it's not unique to daytime. I think there are obviously some big headlines. But in truth, everywhere you go, people are having the same conversation. 'Will I keep working? Will I continue to be able to do what I love?' That's not unique to daytime TV. I think what we are seeing is a reflection of a larger conversation. So that's why our theme is 'Let's Keep Talking,' whether it's on daytime TV, whether it's in a podcast, whatever version of this. I think that will never go out of style."

"Tamron Hall" first launched in September 2019, not long before the pandemic, forcing the show's pvot early in its run. (Hall had previously been with NBC News and "Today.") "I was pregnant after multiple rounds of IVF when we launched this show, and then within six months, we were doing the show in the basement of my home, when the whole world shut down," she said.

Over time, "Tamron Hall" has earned two Daytime Emmy wins for outstanding daytime talk series host and has developed a fan base that the show has dubbed its "Tam Fam." Said Hall: "I didn't know that it was going to resonate as much as it did… but it's about a community. At the beginning of the show, I imagined people from different area codes, different zip codes, different walks of life, having this place for an hour that you can laugh together, talk together. It's not an original idea. What is important is that we were consistent at it."

Season 7 guests have included Mo'Nique, Priscilla Presley, Deion Sanders, Jim Gaffigan, the Chrisley family, Cam Newton, Christian Siriano, Jackee Harry, Judge Greg Mathis and more. "I'm still so proud of the fact that we get news exclusives," Hall said. "Whatever people may think of, for example, the Chrisleys, they came on our show for their first interview out of prison. Malcolm Jamal Warner's mother was one of the most powerful interviews I think we've done this season. And we've had some of the reality stars who find themselves in a pickle. I'm still very proud when a newsmaker or a competitive booking that might go to a great show like 'GMA' or a 'Nightline,' they want to come on the 'Tamron Hall' show because they know that audience is engaged."

"Tamron Hall" is now Disney's second longest-running syndicated talk show, behind just "Live With Kelly and Mark." With "The Kelly Clarkson Show," "Sherri," "Steve Wilkos" and "Karamo" all ending their run ("Jennifer Hudson" and "Drew Barrymore" have been renewed), Hall said she sees an opportunity to capture some of those viewers next season.

"I am a fan of daytime. Is it an opportunity? I sure hope so," she said. "I don't want the notion of daytime television to be seen as this wounded thing that we're taking out to pasture. If I can be a part of reviving or inspiring or reminding people that we have to keep talking, we really do."

Besides the two Daytime Emmy wins, "Tamron Hall" has also been recognized with two NAMIC Awards, a Gracie Honorable Mention for on-air talent, and several NAACP Image Awards and GLAAD Media Awards nominations.

"Tamron Hall" is distributed by Disney Entertainment and is executive produced by Hall and Quiana Burns. It's cleared on ABC stations in markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Houston, as well as on stations run by Hearst, Scripps, Sinclair, Nexstar,  AMG, Cox Media Group, Gray Media, CBS Television, Fox Television Stations and Mission Broadcasting.

Get More From A Face Cleanser And Spa-like Massage

The Chi is about to enter its final chapter. Paramount+ has unveiled a few new photos (see above and below), providing a first look at the upcoming eighth and final season. Production began in January on the Chicago-set drama series created by Emmy winner Lena Waithe. It's slated to premiere later this year on Paramount+.

The Chi revolves around a group of residents on the South Side of Chicago who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption.

Per the official S8 logline: "As The Chi enters its eighth and final season and its coldest winter ever, life or death choices must be made. The question becomes, who is willing to make them? Legacy, conflict, joy, and pain. It all collides in the biggest, most emotionally riveting way ever seen this season on The Chi."

Jacob Latimore, Birgundi Baker, Luke James, Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps, Hannaha Hall and Jason Weaver star.

"When I created The Chi, it wasn't just about making a TV show — it was about owning our narratives and telling our stories with truth, care, nuance and complexity, Waithe said in a statement to Deadline when the final season was announced. It was about showing the soul of the South Side — the beauty, the pain, the grit, and the magic that lives in every block, and in every family. After much reflection, we have made the decision to end The Chi with season 8. I know, for the sake of our story and our characters, it's the right thing. I am committed to delivering a final season that our Chi Family deserves."

The Chi is created and executive produced by Waithe under her Hillman Grad banner, and also executive produced by co-showrunners Justin Hillian for Hillianaire Productions and Jewel Coronel for Uncut Gems. Additional executive producers include Oscar and Emmy winner Common, Aaron Kaplan, Rick Famuyiwa, Resheida Brady-Anderson, Derek Dudley and Shelby Stone of ID8 Multimedia, Naomi Funabashi and Rishi Rajani. James Rogers III joins as executive producer. Deondray Gossfield and Quincy LeNear Gossfield return to direct multiple episodes and have been upped to Co-Executive Producers. The Chi is produced by 20th Television.

Judy Pace, a pioneering model and actress known for her work in "Peyton Place," "Brian's Song," "The Young Lawyers" and numerous films, has died. She was 83.

Pace died in her sleep on March 11 while visiting family members in Marina del Rey, her family said in a statement.

Pace was the first Black female actress to be put under long-term contract by Columbia Pictures in the early 1960s when she began to make her mark as a model. She made her movie debut in a film from famed B-movie producer William Castle, "13 Frightened Girls." A few years later, Pace joined the cast of what was then TV's hottest primetime soap opera, ABC's "Peyton Place." The role that she played in 1968 and 1969 made her among the most prominent Black actors on TV at the time.

Pace also saw her star rise in 1971 with her supporting role in the critically beloved, Emmy-winning ABC TV movie "Brian's Song." She played Linda Sayers, the wife of NFL player Gale Sayers in the movie that told the true story of the friendship between two young NFL players — Sayers and Brian Piccolo — as Piccolo faced terminal cancer. Billy Dee Williams played Gale Sayers, a role that also elevated his stature in Hollywood.

Around that same time, Pace also starred in the ABC drama series "The Young Lawyers," which ran for one season from September 1970 to May 1971. She played one of three law students who provided pro bono help to hard luck cases from the mean streets of Boston. She starred opposite Lee J. Cobb as the wisened leader of the effort, with Zalman King and Phillip Clark as her fellow law students.

Born in Los Angeles in 1942, Pace grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Dorsey High School and Los Angeles Community College. Her sister Betty trained her in the art of modeling. Judy Pace went on to become the youngest model selected for Ebony magazine's Fashion Fair national tour in 1961-62. She became the first TV and print "spokesmodel" for Fashion Fair Cosmetics, making inroads for Black models in advertising and fashion.

In 1965, Pace broke another barrier by becoming the the first Black "bachelorette" contestant to appear on "The Dating Game."

Pace's wide range of film credits included "The Fortune Cookie" (1966), "Three in the Attic" (1968), "The Thomas Crown Affair" (1968), "Cotton Comes to Harlem" (1970), "Frogs" (1972) "Cool Breeze" (1972). She logged guest star shots included some of the most TV popular series of the 1960s and '70s: "Bewitched," "I Spy," "I Dream of Jeannie," "The Mod Squad," "Sanford and Son," "That's My Mama," "Good Times" and "What's Happening."

Pace was also active in philanthropy. In 1971, she co-founded the Kwanza Foundation with "Star Trek" star Nichelle Nichols. The organization focused on supporting Black women in film and providing scholarships to minority students pursuing careers in the arts.

Pace was married for 12 years to actor Don Mitchell, who had a long run on the NBC drama series "Ironside." In 1986, she married baseball superstar Curt Flood and was with him until his death in 1997.

Pace's survivors include two daughters, attorney Shawn Pace Mitchell and actress Julia Pace Mitchell, and a grandson.
