Lifetime has set six new original films to premiere this fall as part of its "Ripped from the Headlines" movie slate starring Heather Locklear, Ana Ortiz, Lyndsy Fonseca, Jackie Cruz, Sheila E. and Karrueche Tran. The new movies will air on Saturdays at 8 p.m./7 c.

These films join the previously announced movies, Buried Alive and Survived (Sept 21) starring Eva Marcille, and He Slid into Her DMs (Sept 28) with Courtney Thorne Smith.

The Girl Who Wasn't Dead
Starring Lyndsy Fonseca, Emma Tremblay and Kyle Clark
Premieres October 5th at 8/7c.

Inspired by true events, The Girl Who Wasn't Dead tells the story of 15-year-old Erica (Tremblay) who vanishes without a trace. Authorities believed Erica might be the victim of a local serial killer, but her mother, Carrie (Fonseca) refused to believe the worst. In an incredible turn of events, Erica emerges from the shadows at her own murder trial, three years after her disappearance. Erica wasn't abducted but had run away and chosen to live in seclusion with her 21-year-old boyfriend, Andrew (Kyle Clark), less than a mile from her mother's house. Banned from seeing her older boyfriend, Erica chose to spend her teenage years hiding from visitors and concealed behind drawn curtains.

The movie is produced by NSM Productions with Tim Johnson serving as executive producer. Simone Stock directs from a script by Yuri Baranovsky and Angela Gulner.

Nobody Dumps My Daughter
Starring Ana Ortiz, Jasmine Vega and Sheila E.
Premieres October 12th at 8/7c.

In Nobody Dumps My Daughter, after Jimmy breaks up with Theresa (Vega), her overbearing mother, Mary (Ana Ortiz), becomes obsessed with mending their relationship after learning that Jimmy took her daughter's virginity. Determined to reunite the couple, Mary does everything she can to convince Jimmy to change his mind… including bribing him. When her tactics fail, Mary becomes desperate and her meddling ways turn to murderous when she enlists the services of a fortune teller named Anna (Sheila E.) and a hitman to murder Jimmy in an attempt to reclaim her daughter's purity.

Husband, Father, Killer: The Alyssa Pladl Story
Starring Jackie Cruz, Matreya Scarrwener and Matthew MacCaull
Directed by Elisabeth Rohm
Premieres October 19th at 8/7c.

In the movie, Alyssa (Cruz) and Steven (MacCaull) have an intense relationship and move in together when Alyssa is an impressionable teen.  After they have a daughter of their own, their path takes a dark turn when Steven becomes physically abusive toward the infant.  Alyssa senses the situation is dire and puts the child up for adoption…little does she know, that 18 years later their daughter, now named Katie (Scarrwener), would seek them out. After an instant connection when they reunite, Steven convinces Katie to move in with him, Alyssa and their two young daughters, promising her opportunities to pursue her passions. Steven starts neglecting the rest of the family and Alyssa finally has enough and moves out. When Alyssa discovers that Katie and Steven are having an affair and expecting, she confronts them and tries to convince Katie of Steven's abusive past. Katie refuses to listen until it's too late.

When Lena (Cadence) – an Amish woman with a checkered past – realizes her daughter has been abducted, she is forced to turn to the only person who can help: her estranged best friend, Skye (Bauman) who's renounced the Amish way of life and found fame on social media.
