New Line Cinema and HBO Max on Tuesday released the trailer for Kimi, Steven Soderbergh's new cyber-thriller that stars Zoë Kravitz. The pic will stream exclusively on HBO Max beginning February 10.
David Koepp's script stars Kravitz as a voice-stream interpreter who believes she has intercepted audio of a murder, sending her down a frightening path as she attempts to investigate the crime. Byron Bowers, Jaime Camil, Erika Christensen, Derek DelGaudio, Robin Givens, Charles Halford, Devin Ratray, Jacob Vargas and Rita Wilson also star.
The trailer glimpses Kravitz;s life being upended as she seeks help in uncovering the mystery, with the tech she uses becoming both a help and a hindrance to her cause.
Koepp, a veteran of the genre with credits including Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Spider-Man and Panic Room, is also producing along with Michael Polaire.
Soderbergh's most recent film No Sudden Move also streamed on HBO Max.
