Rap trio Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue are teaming up for a performance at the Billboard Music Awards to mark the 30th anniversary of their U.S. chart debuts.
The two groups made history when they became the first female hip-hop acts to hit the U.S. top 40.
Salt-N-Pepa's Push It became the first rap song by a female act to hit the top 40 in 1988. They hit the top three in 1994 with their En Vogue collaboration Whatta Man.
They will join Kelly Clarkson, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Shawn Mendes, and Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato, among the other acts, performing at the ceremony on May 20.
The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
