Elton John and Beyonce are cooking up an epic song for the end theme of the new The Lion King remake.
The Rocket Man star has revealed that four of the songs he and Tim Rice wrote for Disney's animated classic will be revamped for the new live-action film, and Beyonce has asked them to create a new tune for her character Nala.
"They need to have a new end credits song," John tells The U.K. Sun. "There's going to be four of our songs in the film, from the original – Can You Feel The Love Tonight? Hakuna Matata, I Just Can't Wait To Be King and Circle of Life – and then there will be an end, closing song, and we've been speaking to Beyonce's people and hopefully Tim and I and her can cook up something.
"It will be great to work with her."
Beyonce will be part of a star-studded cast including Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, James Earl Jones, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Keegan-Michael Key, and John Oliver, while The Roots leader Questlove has revealed he has signed on to create the new movie's score.
John admits he has seen a little of director Jon Favreau's new movie, and it's "amazing."
