We know celebrities as glamorous people who leave glamorous lives, but many of them had a decidedly unglamorous start.
Turns out future-royal Meghan Markle is no exception.
Markle's first job was serving frozen yogurt at Humphrey Yogart, a shop in Sherman Oaks, California, she revealed in a tweet back in 2014.
She was just 13 years old at the time, and it was in the parking lot of the yogurt shop that she met celebrity crush Yasmine Bleeth, who starred as lifeguard Caroline Holden on "Baywatch."
According to Markle's descripton of the interaction, she was completely starstruck. She says she blurted out "Oh my God, I loved you in that Soft & Dri commercial," to which Bleeth answered, "Okay, thank you!"
Markle says Bleeth's humble response, as well as the smile and handshake the "Baywatch" actress gave her, still set the tone for all of Markle's fan run-ins today.
Markle's former boss Paula Sheftel told the Sunday Mirror that Prince Harry's bride-to-be didn't earn much, but she was well-liked by the shop's customers.
"She earned minimum wage and was very popular with customers. She had to prove she had an outgoing personality and would work well with staff," Sheftel told the Mirror.
Markle has come a long way since then. After landing various small roles, including appearing as a suitcase girl on the game show "Deal or No Deal," the actress got her big break on "Suits." Markle is set to marry Prince Harry on May 19th of next year.
