Rashida Jones, star of "Parks and Recreation" and daughter of music legend Quincy Jones, has paid $3.2 million for a 40-acre spread in Ojai, Calif., says the Los Angeles Times.
The tile-roofed contemporary has four bedrooms and four baths in 3,500 square feet. The gated home was built in 1996 by architect Thornton Ladd as his personal residence.
It features glass walls overlooking mountains and countryside, an open floor plan, a living room with open beam ceiling, and a newish kitchen. Light, wide-plank wood floors flow throughout the public spaces.
The home has two spacious master suites and an add-on wing with more bedrooms, bath and family room.
The property was last sold in 2008 for $2.5 million. It hit the market in July for $3.4 million and Jones closed on it a couple months later for $200,000 under asking.
In a sitcom-worthy twist, actor John Krasinski, Jones' co-star on "The Office," has been trying to unload his own Ojai spread for over a year. Krasinski and his wife, actress Emily Blunt, initially listed their home for $4.25 million, but have since cut the price to $2.75 million.
Jones, 40, has also starred in films, including "I Love You, Man" and "Our Idiot Brother." She wrote the screenplay for "Toy Story 4."
