{blackbabes} Brooks Wheelan Joins ABC Pilot ‘Toast’; Clare-Hope Ashitey Lines Up Fox’s ‘Shots Fired’

Brooks Wheelan Clare-Hop Ashitey 2-shot

Brooks Wheelan (Saturday Night Live) has landed a series regular role on Toast, ABC's hybrid comedy pilot executive produced by Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes. The project hails from Rhimes and Betsy Beers' Shondaland, Scott Foley and Greg Grunberg. Written by Foley and Grunberg and directed by Gail Mancuso, Toast revolves around engaged couple Max (Jono Kenyon) and Page (Jerrika Hinton), who, over their wedding rehearsal dinner, have their eclectic family and friends give toasts recalling anecdotes about the couple — but flashbacks reveal that the toasts don't always get it right, as we watch the true story of their complicated, funny and relatable road to marriage. Wheelan will play Vince, an extreme sports enthusiast. An animated and adventurous guy, he is Max's best man and best friend. Wheelan spent the 2014 season on SNL, and his other credits include Those Who Can't, Girls, Hawaii Five-O and a Comedy Central stand-up special. Repped by Gersh, Avalon and Hansen Jacobson, he next will be seen in the indie feature Random Tropical Paradise.

Clare-Hope Ashitey (Suspects) has booked a series regular role in the Fox event series Shots Fired. From Gina Prince-Bythewood and Brian Grazer, Shots Fired examines the dangerous aftermath of racially charged shootings in a small town. The cast also includes Sanaa Lathan, Tristan Wilds, Aisha Hinds, Stephen James, Richard Dreyfuss, Helen Hunt, Stephen Moyer, Jill Hennessey and Will Patton. Ashitey will plays Kerry Beck, the wife of Deputy Joshua Beck, who is struggling to keep her family and life together as the media spotlight bears down on her husband. Ashitey's credits include the UK series Suspects and Doctor Foster and biopic Jimi: All Is by My Side. She next appears in indie drama The White King. She is repped by Gersh, Authentic Talent and United Agents in the UK.

{blackbabes} 4 reasons to believe Beyoncé's album may drop on April 4

The way, truth and the Hive...

From rallying brown girls to get in Formation to her unapologetic Black Lives Matter tribute at the 2016 Super Bowl, from her mic-dropping announcement of an international tour to the debut of her Ivy Park "athleisure" line, Beyoncé is once again all on our mouths like liquor. And the Queen Bee's renewed buzz can be only mean one thing: Another edge-snatching album is upon us.

Beyoncé's camp previously confirmed the album would drop sometime in April, which got us thinking, "Why not this Monday (April 4)?"

Here's the calculated reasoning behind our prediction.

1. It coincides with the release of her Elle cover

Beyoncé has largely eschewed interviews over the course of the last two years, relying instead on a painstakingly curated social media profile and HBO documentary, quiet contributions to grassroots movements campaigning against systemic racism, and sumptuous music video visuals that leave critics wringing their hands in a bid to parse through her embedded political messages. And yet, on the verge of increasing clamor about her sixth studio album, Bey agrees to a cover story. The Elle profile (on newsstands and online April 4) is either incredibly serendipitous or incredibly strategic. Based on the mogul's business savvy, we're inclined to lean toward the latter.

2. She's about to go on tour

Time is running out for Beyoncé to release new music before her Formation world tour kicks off April 27 in Miami. Of course, nothing's stopping her from touring without new material. But we're not talking about an amateur here — we're talking about Beyoncé, one of music's savviest marketers, who's ascended the pop music throne by making sure there's always something new for her fans to buzz about. Launching a tour without releasing an album first? Both we and Bey know that's a wasted opportunity.

3. It's the anniversary of Walter Scott's death

From the Formation video's pointed police brutality references to Bey's Black Panther homage at the Super Bowl, all signs point toward Beyoncé highlighting social justice issues on her new album. And April 4 marks an important and tragic anniversary for the BLM movement — it's the one-year anniversary of the death of Walter Scott, who was killed by police after a traffic stop in South Charleston on April 4, 2015. Combined with the rumors that Bey will honor Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice and Mike Brown in one of her new music videos, remembering Scott by releasing her album on the 4th isn't beyond the realm of possibility.

4. And, finally, the simple answer: The number 4 holds sentimental value for Bey

Beyoncé previously opened up about the significance of the number 4 during her press tour for her fourth studio album, the aptly titled 4. During an July 2011 interview with Good Morning America, the singer explained: "My birthday is on the fourth. My mother's birthday is on the fourth. My husband's (Jay Z) birthday is on the fourth. I got married on the fourth." So, why not debut her highly anticipated LP on the fourth day of the fourth month of the year — a day which also marks her 8th anniversary with Jay? It's only right.

{blackbabes} Ashanti’s stalker gets prison time

Ashanti's deranged stalker bizarrely compared his case to that of ex-cop Peter Liang in a bid for no jail time for sending the R&B singer sexually explicit tweets – but a Manhattan judge was unswayed and meted out the max of 1 1/3 to 4 years behind bars.

Devar Hurd, 37, argued before Justice Kirke Bartley Jr. that because the former officer, convicted of manslaughter for shooting an unarmed man in the stairwell of a Brooklyn housing project, might not have to serve a day behind bars, neither should he.

"A man's life was taken during the course of that situation and the DA, the head DA recommended no jail time, and here I am in Manhattan Supreme Court, and I didn't do none of that," said Hurd, referring to Brooklyn DA Ken Thompson's call for leniency for Liang.

"I didn't so much as threaten anyone, didn't so much as throw a pebble," Hurd said.

Prosecutor Carolina Holderness argued for the maximum."He has been told repeatedly by courts to leave these people alone and repeatedly disregards the court orders," she said.

The judge then handed down the largely symbolic sentence — Hurd has already served 32 months and could be sprung as soon as he goes before a parole board.

A Manhattan jury convicted the indomitable fan earlier this month of felony stalking for bombarding Ashanti with vulgar tweets in violation of an order of protection.

This was Hurd's third trial for the same crime – and the third time Ashanti Douglas, 35, was dragged into court to testify against him.

Hurd, who represented himself, seemed to delight in pelting Ashanti with embarrassing question after question.

The fed-up songstress told Hurd she wanted him out of her life.

"You continuously tweeted over and over again disgusting, derogatory things to me," she seethed. "I just wish you would stop."

During Hurd's rambling summation, he argued he was no more a criminal than disgraced pol Anthony Weiner, who resigned from Congress for tweeting nude pics to women.

"I didn't even send no nude pics," he said. "I just talked some sexually explicit stuff from time to time. Why didn't he [Weiner] get arrested for doing the same stuff?"

Holderness urged jurors to look at the tweets sent in July of 2013, as part of a nearly decade-long campaign of harassment.

"He's not just sending them (the tweets) as a fan but someone who has been convicted and ordered not to communicate with her," the ADA said.

At Hurd's 2015 trial, a judge was forced to declare a mistrial on the top count, the charge for which he was just retried, after the jury deadlocked.

That panel did convict him of 9 lesser counts. A year earlier, Hurd got a mistrial when a juror got sick during deliberations.

And all this was after the relentless fan was convicted in 2009 of stalking and harassment for sending crotch-shots to Ashanti's mom.

{blackbabes} Beyoncé's New Fitness Commercial Featuring Blue Ivy Makes Working Out Look Impossibly Fierce

{blackbabes} Beyoncé is launching an activewear line

Beyoncé is helping her fan base get thismuch closer to obtaining her bootylicious bod.

The superstsar singer took to Instagram Thursday morning to announce her latest venture with co-founder Sir Philip Green: an activewear line named Ivy Park.

Her cryptic post — a photo of herself wearing a black-and-white bodysuit while sexily lounging on a pair of suspended workout rings — was simply tagged @weareivypark.

Meanwhile, Topshop (of which Green is the chairman) posted a more direct announcement on its Instagram account, with a photo of Queen Bey wearing the same bodysuit emblazoned with the brand's logo. The caption directly announced the collaboration, as well the date available to purchase (for those of you hanging by an athleisure thread, that's April 14).

The first half of the brand's namesake comes from Beyoncé's daughter, Blue Ivy, while the latter half is equally loaded with personal meaning (it references the park where Beyonce used to go for runs with her father — Elle.com has the full explanation in this newly released video.). With cameos from Blue Ivy and old footage of Beyoncé and Solange as kids, the quick clip packs a sentimental punch.

All we know is that if the Beyhive has anything to do with it, this cool collaboration is sure to hit the ground running as soon as it goes live.

{blackbabes} Is Beyoncé About to Release New Album Featuring Adele, Kanye West & Mariah Carey?

Beyonce
Beyonce

The Beyhive is abuzz once again about a rumored Beyoncé and Adele collaboration.

Back in November, Adele denied a rumor that she turned down a request from Beyoncé to sing together. Now, though, what appears to be a leaked album release is making its way around the Internet, and it has fans hoping once again that Queen Bey is joining forces with Adele and dropping an album on Friday! But hold on, y'all, there's a pretty big catch...

This supposedly leaked release has Beyoncé dropping this new album, titled Formation, to Tidal users on Apr. 1—otherwise known as April Fool's Day—one week earlier than a wide release slated for Apr. 8. Given that Beyoncé is a Tidal founding member, it's totally plausible that she'd use her album release as a way to promote the streaming service, but on April Fool's Day? Really?

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CezocsnXEAERQfJ.jpg

Actually, it's Beyoncé, and she likes to keep us on our toes. That said, the singer has yet to make any sort of announcement in regards to all this, so we're not really sure if we should be setting ourselves up for new music joy or cruel prank disappointment.

If the Formation release making the rounds is, indeed, legit, Beyoncé's new album will feature Adele as well as Jay Z, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Frank Ocean. There are 14 total tracks listed on the purportedly leaked set list, one of them being "Formation."

There's speculation that Beyoncé will be pulling a Beyoncé and releasing new songs and music videos like she did back on December 2013. As several astute Twitter users noticed, the video count on Beyoncé's Vevo page is listed at 117. But, if you add up all the videos from the index (music videos, audio, performance & shows), that number jumps to 130. That leaves 13 videos unaccounted for (and presumably, privately listed), and since Bey already released the music video for "Formation" last month, the remaining 13 tracks from her rumored album could theoretically be privately listed and waiting for launch.

There was an Us Weekly report claiming that Beyoncé was filming a music video last week and presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton made a surprise visit to the set. However, per NBC News, a member of the presidential hopeful's camp said this meeting never happened.

As for a new album dropping on April Fool's Day? Your guess is as good as ours.

{blackbabes} First Look of Entire Baywatch Movie 'Squad'

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Shares Epic Photo of Baywatch

This is one hot reboot.

Dwayne Johnson shared a photo of the entire Baywatch crew on Monday.

"EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK: Our entire #BAYWATCH squad," the actor, 43,
captioned the photo. "Are we bad ass? Yes. Do we save lives? All day. Are we a dysfunctional family? Epically. Do we have fun? F––– YES. We work hard, we play hard."

The photo – which included
Zac Efron, Jon Bass, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, and Johnson – features the cast running on the beach, in the famous red and blue bathing suit ensemble.

Just last week, Johnson confirmed that the original Mitch Buchannon, played by David Hasselhoff, will be making an appearance in the film.

"'I WAS BORN READY!' Pleasure to official welcome the original #BAYWATCH gangsta himself David Hasselhoff to our movie," Johnson captioned the Instagram video. "#BAYWATCH is the most successful TV show of all time and from the say we announced we were turning in into a movie, 'The Hoff' has been our greatest supporter. Especially once he knew our RATER R movie was going to be a combination of AVENGERS and ANCHORMAN."

With a star-studded cast like this, we can only imagine the fun that has been had on set. In a recent interview on
SeriusXM Radio, the actor and previous Baywatch guest star, Jenny McCarthy, recalled just how much fun was actually had in her days on set.

"When I was on Baywatch, they said to me, 'By the way, our slow motion camera is broken. Do you mind jogging in slow motion for us?," McCarthy recalled. "Now imagine that. Can you jog in slow motion? I did it!"

Hasselhoff hilariously responded, "I know, we used to do that to everybody that we could get away with. We would just watch you guys do it and we would just laugh our butts off!"

"Of course I bought it the whole time.," McCarthy said.

Baywatch hits theaters May 19, 2016.

{blackbabes} Naomi Campbell on Her Empire Acting Gig: 'I'm Quiet on Set'

After a three-month hiatus, Empire is back – and so is Naomi Campbell's character Camilla!

Though the
exiled (and much older) lover of Empire scion Hakeem (Bryshere "Yazz" Gray) is set to take on a bigger role in upcoming episodes Campbell is coy when discussing Camilla's arc in the upcoming season, telling PEOPLE: "Camilla's taking her chance while she can."

Naomi Campbell on Her Empire Acting Gig: 'I'm Quiet on Set'| Empire, People Picks, TV News, Bryshere Gray, Naomi Campbell, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard
Admittedly, Campbell had no idea how big her role would become. "When Lee [Daniels] asked me to the do this show in the first season, no one knew what was going to happen," she says. "I believe in anything that he does and so of course I'm there and I believed it was going to be successful. But you never know what the writers are going to come up with, you just never know."

"I think Camilla's quite consistent," Campbell says of her on-air persona. "She's got determination. And she's not going to let anyone get in the way of getting what she wants. She's very ambitious. But I think she's ambitious in a very quiet way. She's not loud about it, she does it sneakily and she surprises people. People don't see her coming. Maybe that's her reserved, English way."

Naomi Campbell on Her Empire Acting Gig: 'I'm Quiet on Set'| Empire, People Picks, TV News, Bryshere Gray, Naomi Campbell, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard
Like Camilla, Campbell says she lets her work speak for itself. "That's how I've always been. I never discuss [my work]. You see it when it comes out," she says. "For me, it's like an unlucky charm … until I see it I don't believe it."

In fact, "I'm very quiet on set because, for me, it's a learning experience," she says. "I don't speak very much, I'm just focus on what I have to do and I'm very observant of key things. I'm taking in everything and I'm learning. That's what I'm like when I model. Even when I model today after doing it for almost 30 years, I still am quiet, even when I've known the photographer for 30 years."

Naomi Campbell on Her Empire Acting Gig: 'I'm Quiet on Set'| Empire, People Picks, TV News, Bryshere Gray, Naomi Campbell, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard
Campbell also reveals that the whole vibe on set is "very professional" and that she's benefited from the talent of her costars. "Terrence [Howard] is so generous to work with," she says. "It's such a blessing to work with him because he's such a great actor. The encouragement he gives me, when he tells me 'You can push a bit more' or 'You did good on that take," that, for me, is just like, 'Oh my God, Terrence Howard is saying that to me?' He's such a great actor, so respected."

So she doesn't expect perfection as an actor just yet: "I'm not looking for fame," she explains. "I'm already known so it's really about me learning a new craft and trying to do the best I can. I'm learning each day."

Empire returns Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.

{blackbabes} The Hunger Games' Amandla Stenberg Talks Diversity, Sexuality – and the Presidential Election

Amandla Stenberg On Hollywood's Diversity Problems

The storm surrounding this year's Oscars has calmed, but Hollywood's diversity problems are far from over, according to The Hunger Games star and youth activist Amandla Stenberg.

Speaking out in Interview magazine's "The New Progressives"
April issue, the 17-year-old said she'll use her platform to push for change.

"There are some really valid things in what
Jada Pinkett Smith said," Stenberg said of the actress' decision to skip the Academy Awards. "I'm really passionate about representation in film. I feel like the world is dominated by such a small group of human beings. There are so many different kinds of people that aren't represented, that don't have characters who look like them."

Stenberg said the issue is one of the reasons she wants to direct in the future – and is headed to New York University's film school after she graduates high school: "I want to actually tell some of these stories."

She noted, however, that the "intense emphasis" on awards shows can have a negative impact on an industry that is producing "good" work. "We need to realize that art and creation are so much bigger than an award or any measure of accomplishment," she explained.

The Hunger Games' Amandla Stenberg Talks Diversity, Sexuality – and the Presidential Election| Diversity in Entertainment, Movie News, Amandla Stenberg

The actress, who created her own comic book about a powerful female warrior just last year, has long been outspoken about both black and youth culture, but admits she worries about getting "boxed into this #BlackGirlMagic social activist category."

Lately, after coming out as bisexual, Stenberg has also been thinking more and more about what it means to be part of several minority groups.

"I mean, unfortunately or not unfortunately, take it as you will, when you are a marginalized person or a woman of color and/or someone who's a part of the LGBTQ community, your acts become politicized, just by being yourself," she explained. "Because we're not completely accepting of all different kinds of human beings. So that's been an interesting dynamic for me to navigate. By being myself, I'm doing something political."

But American politics interest the teen, as she told Interview – and she hopes other like-minded kids will take a chance to engage with the 2016 presidential election.

"I think there's this great disconnect between youth culture and politics, which is a product of how our capitalist system works," she says. "I mean, a lot of the kids I know are really politically involved. They really care about politics. They care about who the president is going to be. And so, I guess we'll see very soon. I think we're going to have an incredible impact on how politics end up shaking this country."

{blackbabes} Brandy sues record label over right to record new music

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Brandy is suing a record label that she says has refused to allow her to release new music.

The Grammy-winning singer sued Chameleon Entertainment Group in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, claiming it won't allow her to record or release new music in an attempt to get her to sign a new recording deal.

The suit says Brandy signed with Chameleon in 2011, which released her album "Two Eleven" in 2012. The deal gave Chameleon the option to release four more Brandy records, but her suit says the label refused to allow her to record a new album.

The lawsuit says Brandy terminated her contract with Chameleon but wants a judge's ruling that it is void.

An email sent to Chameleon seeking comment was not immediately returned Wednesday.

{blackbabes} Fox and MLB Team Up For New Female Pitcher Pilot, Pitch

Kylie Bunbury Kylie Bunbury

Fox and Major League Baseball are teaming up in a big way for the network's upcoming pilot Pitch, about the league's first female player, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the pilot from producer Dan Fogelman (Galavant) Ginny, played by Kylie Bunbury (ex-Kathleen, Days Of Our Lives), will pitch for the San Diego Padres, thus (fictionally) breaking the league's real-life gender barrier.

But Pitch won't be novel just for its premise: the show has also been granted use of MLB marks, logos, licensed product, uniforms, teams, stadiums, locations and game footage. It'll film at Petco Park in San Diego, the real-life home of the Padres.

Add shows to your watch list now.

The hope is for the show to expand, including more teams and cameos from real-life all stars should it move to series. However, it won't feature the Padres' real life line-up but instead create its own--a lineup that will include the likes of Mark-Paul Gosselaar.

{blackbabes} ‘The Blacklist’ Spinoff: Tawny Cypress To Co-Star

Tawny Cypress Blacklist Spinoff

Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable) has been cast as a series regular opposite Famke Janssen, Ryan Eggold and Edi Gathegi in NBC's proposed spinoff from The Blacklist. Like fellow new Blacklist addition Janssen, Cypress will recur on the last couple of episodes of  the original series this season and become a regular should NBC proceed with the project as a new series for next season.

The Blacklist episode that will serve as a formal planted spinoff is Episode 322 — airing May 12 — written by The Blacklist creator/executive producer Jon Bokenkamp and exec producer/showrunner John Eisendrath and directed by Michael Dinner.

Cypress will play Nez Rowan (formerly known as Harper). Janssen will play Susan "Scottie" Halsted. No details are being provided on the spinoff's premise, but I hear it focuses on Scottie's relationship with Tom (Eggold), which is said to be similar to Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader)'s relationship with Liz (Megan Boone) on the original series.

The spinoff was created by Bokenkamp and Eisendrath, who executive produce with The Blacklist exec producers John Davis and John Fox.

This marks Cypress' return to NBC where she did major arcs on Heroes and Third Watch. Cypress recently was a regular on crime drama Unforgettable and has recurred on Netflix's House Of Cards and CBS' Supergirl. She is reped by Abrams Artists Agency and Judy Lesley at Sinclair Management.

World number one and eight-time Miami Open champion Serena Williams was not too downbeat following her shock loss to Svetlana Kuznetsova, insisting she cannot win every match.

Williams and her 20-match winning streak at Key Biscayne came to an end on Monday, dispatched by 15th seed Kuznetsova 6-7 (3-7) 6-1 6-2 in the fourth round.

The 34-year-old had been seeking her ninth title at the WTA Premier event and fourth in a row, but Williams faded in the Miami heat.

Speaking afterwards, the 21-time grand-slam champion told reporters: "I did the best I could. I can't win every match.

"These players come out and play me like they've never played before in their lives.

"I have to be 300 percent every day. It's obviously disappointing, but I have won here a lot, so it's okay."

Williams, who lost to Victoria Azarenka in the BNP Paribas Open final, looked sluggish on court against the Russian veteran.

In two hours, two minutes, Williams tallied 55 unforced errors to Kuznetsova's 15.

Williams also recorded nine double faults, while she only won 39 per cent of her second serves in the three-set battle.

"I don't think it's appropriate to criticise my movement right now," Williams added. "Physically I'm fine. I don't know, I guess I didn't move today.

"Maybe that was one of the things that didn't work out for me."

{blackbabes} ‘Shooter’: Cynthia Addai-Robinson Lands Female Lead Of USA Series In Recasting

CynthiaAddaiRobinson

Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Arrow) has been cast as the female lead opposite Ryan Phillippe in Shooter, USA Network's upcoming drama series from Paramount TV and Universal Cable Prods. She replaces Emily Rios, who played the part in the pilot.

The thriller, based on Stephen Hunter's novel Point Of Impact and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg, is written by John Hlavin and executive produced by Wahlberg. It stars Phillippe as Bob Lee Swagger — the role played by Wahlberg in the movie — an expert marksman living in exile who is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the president.

Addai-Robinson will play FBI agent Nadine Memphis. Nadine has a strong intuition and dogged determination which has made her a rising star in the Bureau, but her headstrong personality has also landed her in trouble in the past. As the arresting officer of a would-be-assassin, she may have set her career back on the fast track, but her gut tells her there's more to this case. Not realizing the depth of the conspiracy, she unwittingly puts both her investigation and her life in jeopardy.

{blackbabes} Kim Fields Reveals Her Plan to Pay Tribute to The Facts of Life on DWTS

Somebody call Mrs. Garrett because things on Dancing With the Stars are about to go retro!

That's right, when Kim Fields and Sasha Farber take to the stage during next week's episode of ABC's dance competition, they'll be paying homage to the TV show that gave the legendary sitcom actress her start.

Speaking with E! News' Sibley Scoles after dancing the salsa to Kim's fave, Gloria Estefan, Sasha tried to keep their big plans for the coming week under wraps, but after a little prodding, he cracked. "We're doing an amazing tribute to The Facts of Life, and it's going to be huge," he revealed.

And if you're thinking Kim reprimanded Sasha with her patented "We're in troouu-ble!" (her catchphrase from her Tootie days), you're wrong. She divulged even more intel, admitting that the tribute will be about more than just one of her early career highlights. "A little roller skating, a little nod to the Mrs. Buttersworth's syrup vibe, a little fox trotting," she said. "Quite the week." (Kim famously appeared in a 1978 commercial for Mrs. Buttersworth's and if you haven't seen that cuteness, you must.)

Kim also gushed about the highlight of her week: That video chat with Ms. Estefan. "She's been a hero of mine for decades, and so to be able to make that connection, thank you again," she said, beaming at the partner who made it all possible.

So how exactly did Sasha arrange for that chat with Gloria? "Just knowing the right people in high places," he teased.

For more from Kim and Sasha, including an update on her future with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, check out our interview with the pair above.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.

{blackbabes} R&B singer Kehlani hospitalized after apparent suicide attempt

Hours after talk about her love life exploded online, R&B up-and-comer Kehlani was hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt.

The "Did I" singer posted a picture of herself in a Los Angeles area hospital with an IV in her arm to Instagram late Monday night.

"Today I wanted to leave this earth," the 20-year-old wrote in the since deleted post. "Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I'd get to such a low point."

The Oakland singer went on to explain, that contrary to breathless Internet speculation, the problems in her private life were all the result of a misunderstanding.

"Don't believe the blogs you read," she continued. "No one was cheated on and I'm not a bad person … Everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding.. But as of today, I had no single wish to see tomorrow.. But God saved me for a reason, and for that… I must be grateful.. Cuz I'm not in heaven right now for a reason."

The singer, who has most recently been linked to Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving, became the focus of breathless internet gossip on Monday after her ex, Toronto singer Party Next Door, took to Instagram to post a since-deleted image of him holding Kehlani's easily identifiable tattooed hand in bed, with the questionable caption, "After all her shenanigans, still got the r&b singer in my bed."

Many on the Internet decided that image meant that the singer had either broken up with the NBA star, 24, or was cheating on him with her ex.

Shortly after the post, Kehlani deleted her Instagram account, before reinstating it to post the picture of herself in the hospital. She posted one more since deleted update, this one featuring Party Next Door, 22, next to her bed.

"Thank you for saving my life," she wrote alongside the image.

TMZ reports that the before being sent to the hospital for evaluation, the singer was placed under a psychiatric hold.

A representative for Kehlani declined to comment.

{blackbabes} Kim Fields treated ‘so badly’ by Bravo

https://nyppagesix.files.wordpress.com/2016/03/516884150-copy.jpg?quality=100&strip=all&w=915

"Dancing with the Stars" appears to be a better fit for Kim Fields than "Real Housewives of Atlanta."

An insider tells Page Six the "Living Single" alumna, 46, was mistreated on the Georgia-based show and that she's thrilled with ABC's red-carpet service.

"They treated her awful. Once she got a taste of how one should be treated, and that would be how ABC is treating her, she's like, 'Screw this s–t, man!'" the insider explained. "She's very happy on 'Dancing,' doing well."

The positive atmosphere and glitzy lights are working in Fields' favor. During her first dance of the season, the "Cha-cha-cha," she received lots of praise from the judges.

She and her partner, Sasha Farber, earned 20 out of a possible 30 points.

"Kim was gracious, wonderful, could not stop thanking everyone because Bravo treats her so badly," the spy added.

In mid-March, Fields gave a radio interview implying she was quitting "RHOA" after one season.

A production source says no official decisions have been made.

A request for comment from Bravo wasn't immediately returned.
