Some of film and television's boldest and most influential women have come together to grace the cover of Vanity Fair's 22nd annual Hollywood Issue.
Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Jane Fonda, Viola Davis, Brie Larson and Lupita Nyong'o are among the 13 women celebrated in the portfolio issue.
In a series of glamorous photos, including both group and solo shots, the women are praised for their acclaimed work in film and television. Among the group are seven Academy Award winners and two Emmy winners, with Charlotte Rampling leading the way for having starred in 98 films throughout her career.
On the cover, the women are shown wearing long black gowns as they gaze into the camera. Inside the issue, a handful of the ladies strip down to more casual looks for portrait pictures.
Lawrence, 25, and Fonda, 78, pair up for their portrait, wearing simple black shirts as they pose with their arms around each another.
Davis, 50, shows a much more vulnerable side in her solo shot, wearing little to no makeup as she looks off-camera.
Along with some of Hollywood's top female veterans, ingénues Alicia Vikander and Saoirse Ronan are also featured.
The Hollywood Issue will be available online on Feb. 4 and in print on Feb. 9.
