In the days before her husband died, David Bowie's supermodel wife took to Twitter to express her heartache — and hope.
"Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory," Iman posted on Saturday.

And hours before Bowie's death was announced on his website Sunday, the 60-year-old wrote: "The struggle is real, but so is God."
Iman spent Friday retweeting birthday shout outs to her hubby, who had just turned 69.
That same day she tweeted: "Life isn't about avoiding the bruises. It's about collecting the scars to prove we showed up for it."
Iman married Bowie in 1992 and had a daughter, Alexandria, with him eight years later.
She is yet to make a statement about Bowie's death, but a statement from his publicist said the singer was surrounded by his family when he passed "peacefully."
