It's been three years and it looks like Queen Bey is set to return to the Super Bowl halftime show stage. Entertainment Tonight has confirmed that Beyonce will be joining Coldplay at Super Bowl 50.
While Beyonce's rep has not commented as of yet, speculation leads to the though that Bey will join the band in a live performance of "Hymn for the Weekend," the track they recorded together on the band's seventh studio album, "A Head Full of Dreams."
Also set to mark their return to the sporting event is Bruno Mars as rumors have him joining Coldplay on stage during the show. Chris Martin is very excited about the opportunity, saying in a video interview, "Are you kidding me? It's the greatest moment of our band's life. We're going to give it everything we have."
The same video makes reference to "special guests" which has led to more speculation that Bruno Mars and Beyonce may not be the only superstars taking the stage during the show.
Super Bowl 50 will go down at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California and will air live on Sunday, Feb. 7 on CBS.
