Lisa Bonet, who played Bill Cosby's daughter Denise on The Cosby Show for seven years, is shocked by the rape allegations against her TV dad, her daughter Zoë Kravitz says.
Dope star Kravitz told The Guardian in an interview published Thursday that Bonet, 47, "really hasn't" talked to her about the scandal.
"She'd plead the Fifth, even to me," said Kravitz, 26. "I think she's just staying out of it. She's just as disgusted and concerned as everyone else is, but I don't think she has any insight. It's news to her as well."
More than 40 women have come forward over the past year accusing Cosby, 78, of drugging and sexually assaulting them decades ago. (He has denied all the claims through his lawyer.) In November, someone pretending to be Bonet Tweeted criticism of Cosby, but her manager told PEOPLE the actress does not have any social media accounts.
"She's a very straightforward person," Kravitz added of her mother. "If there was something she felt the world needed to know that would help this case or help any women who had been abused, she would say something."
