{blackbabes} Tamera Mowry-Housley Can't Wait to Play Dress Up with Her Daughter

As Tamera Mowry-Housley anticipates the arrival of her little girl, there is one person that may be even more enthusiastic: her 2-year-old son, Aden John Tanner.

"He actually looks at my belly and says, 'Baby, baby,'" The Real co-host, 36, told PEOPLE at the Essence Black Women in Music pre-Grammy party on Thursday night at Avalon in Hollywood.

"I said, 'We're having a girl — you're going to have a sister,' and he lifted up his hands and went, 'Woohoo!'"

Just in time for the new addition, Aden has started to talk a lot and is learning more and more as a preschool newcomer.

"He is his own person, so I think right now he's learning to work together with other kids because in our household it's all about Aden, where at school it's all about people, so it's really good to learn," Mowry-Housley explains.

While Aden plays toss with his daddy, former pro-baseball player turned Fox News correspondent, Adam Housley, 42, she can't wait to start playing dress up with her future fashionista.

"I've always wanted to know what Adam and my child would look like; We had a boy and now we have a girl," Mowry-Housley says. "I love fashion and makeup, and now I get to have a little fun."

Being a mother has been everything that Mowry-Housley has ever wanted (and more!), but the wide range of emotions that come along with the job occasionally catch her off guard.

"You could just be really, really, really excited and then all of the sudden this switch will flip and you can start acting really crazy, and it can become really challenging," she says of her mom-to-be mood swings.

She adds, "I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I love it. I love my son, I love my family, I'm grateful."

As Mowry-Housley pushed past the tough first trimester, she is gleaming through her second. "I have lots of energy and I'm just enjoying it," she says.
