Kerry Washington, Benedict Cumberbatch

Kerry WashingtonBenedict Cumberbatch, and Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan are among the 100 Most Influential People, according to Time magazine.

The annual list was published Thursday, featuring blurbs on each individual by other celebrities. "In her role as Olivia Pope, Scandal's unflappable political fixer, Kerry Washington has used her grace and vibrant magnetism to transcend age, race and gender, and to provide a new mainstream media lens through which to view modern womanhood and professional excellence," Valerie Jarrett writes. 

Among the other entertainment industry folks in the Top 100 are Robert RedfordCarrie UnderwoodRobin WrightSeth MeyersMiley CyrusMatthew McConaughey and director Steve McQueen.

Political figures who made the cut include Kim Jong Un, President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
