Jay Z stunned the crowd at his pre-Super Bowl concert in New York City on Saturday night by bringing wife Beyonce onstage for a duet.

The rap superstar was playing at the Pier 40 venue for a gig organized by DirecTV and halfway through the show he asked the crowd, "Any sexy ladies in New York City tonight?!"

The whooping audience was wowed when the Crazy in Love hitmaker strutted onto the stage in a sexy black dress and the couple performed a rendition of their duet Drunk in Love.

After the track, Jay Z told fans, "All hail to the queen!" as Beyonce departed.

The Super Bowl, where Beyonce performed at half-time last year, will take place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday night. Bruno Mars will provide the entertainment this year.
