We already knew that the bob was officially gone—the singer showed off longer locks while filming her latest music video in New York City—but what we couldn't see in those nighttime photos was the Grammy winner had lightened her hair color. A lot.

Gone is her signature golden honey hue and in its place is platinum tint that would make Gwen Stefani proud. The "Bow Down" singer debuted her new color at a NBA game in Oklahoma City with husband Jay Z just hours after she showed support for her hubby by modeling items from his special Barneys collection on Instagram.

Making the blond appear that much brighter was the fact that she rocked a contrasting dark plum lipstick—similar to the shade she was spotted in just two days earlier. Calling this overall look grungy doesn't feel quite right, but it definitely has a bit of a '90s feel to it.
