Toni Braxton and Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds will join Broadway musical After Midnight from March 18-30, following k.d. lang's stint.
The show revives the Cotton Club's tradition of rotating contemporary stars through limited engagements during the musical's run.
After Midnight begins preview performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in New York on Oct. 18 and opens officially on Nov. 3. Tickets for the shows featuring Braxton and Edmonds go on sale Nov. 4.
The pair's Broadway appearance will be preceded by an album of duets, Love, Marriage & Divorce, out Dec. 3 on Motown Records. The two first collaborated for Braxton's 1992 debut Give U My Heart, co-written and co-produced by Edmonds.
Fantasia opens as the musical's "special guest star" vocalist, followed by k.d. lang, who starts Feb. 11.
After Midnight pays homage to Duke Ellington's Cotton Club years with his arrangements performed by a 17-member big band selected by jazz legend Wynton Marsalis.
