{blackbabes} Mariah Carey set to perform in Central Park

The New York Philharmonic will have a notable guest star when it plays Central Park in a few weeks: Mariah Carey.

The singer, who has a new album due in July, will join a long list of icons who have performed on the Great Lawn when she joins the orchestra on July 13. Major League Baseball, which is scheduled to air its All-Star Game on Fox three days later, will donate $1 million to Sandy Relief efforts (benefiting victims of the superstorm) in conjunction with the concert.

The concert is free, though fans must be ticketed. General admission tickets are available at AllStarGame.com/Concert and NYCGO.com beginning June 26 at 10 a.m. ET.
