R&B singer Monica is pregnant.

The Angel of Mine hitmaker and her basketball ace husband Shannon Brown are expecting their first child together later this year.

The 32 year old announced the exciting news on Twitter.com on Mother's Day by uploading a photo of her burgeoning baby bump, alongside a caption which read, "5months & counting #excited".

Monica already has two kids from a previous relationship with rapper Rocko, sons Rodney, seven, and Romelo, five.
