You might not see Beyonce's face in the new 20th Century Fox animated movie "Epic," but you will hear her voice. The pop star is the focus of a new featurette about the upcoming film and she talks about her character, the Queen of the Forest.
"Once I learned about my character, Queen Tara, I just had to be a part of it," she says of the movie. "What I like most about Tara is she sets a great example for the people she protects. I've always wanted to be a queen. The film is about how everything in our life connects."
She continues, "Everything in this movie is big: the characters, the action. This is one time where the film really lives up to its title."
This is far from Beyonce's first film role. She also starred in "Dreamgirls," "Austin Powers in Goldmember," "The Fighting Temptations," "The Pink Panther" and 2009's "Obsessed." "Epic" also features the voice talents of Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson, Steven Tyler, Pitbull and Colin Farrell.
