Position:Lead QA Engineer
Location: Marlboro, MA
Duration:6+Months

Responsibilities
The individual will report to the Manager of QMC within Enterprise Delivery Center. The individual will:
Lead the QA efforts on various projects. Participate in System, SQL, data, functional and user acceptance testing.
Lead a team of approximately 3-5 onshore/offshore staff.
Assess current QA process and identify plan to implement "best practices" to improve test approaches, deliverables, metrics, automation, tools, communication, procedures, etc.
Interface directly with other teams including system analysts, software engineers, and program management.
Publish QA Status reports.
Document and track testing issues and proactively communicate status to the project team and other key impacted parties.
Work closely with the strategic consulting firm that is providing program management to improve the QA program overall.
Specific requirements include:
Extensive knowledge of full QA lifecycle
Experience leading an offshore QA team is required
Experience writing test strategies, system and user acceptance test plans and documenting test results
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience with Back end testing using SQL/PL SQL is required
Investment application experience such as Fixed Income, Trading, Portfolio Management or Compliance tools is a strong plus.
Experience with testing tools such as QTP, Silktest, Quality Center, Rally etc.
Computer Science degree or related field
Oracle database knowledge is a plus
