Beyoncé will be the subject of an HBO documentary premiering in February, the network announced Monday. The singer is also directing and executive-producing the feature-length film, which will feature performance and behind-the-scenes footage.

The as-yet-untitled feature will explore Beyoncé's early childhood in Houston and her current life as a singer, actress, businesswoman, wife and mother. Beyoncé has been married to Jay-Z since 2008 and gave birth to the couple's first daughter, Blue Ivy, in January.

2013 is shaping up to be a good year for Beyoncé: She is also slated to perform during Super Bowl XLVII's halftime show on Feb. 3.
