Remember when Nicole Richie was just a lovable little sausage in too-tight clothes and sky-high skirts, a mere shadow of a wingwoman to Paris Hilton? Well, Richie shed that baggage a long time ago, in favor of a sleek-nouveau-boheme image that culminated in a new fragrance launch this week.
Mrs. Joel Madden looked stunning in an Alberta Ferretti sundress with deep cleavage—a last goodbye to summer before Labor Day rolls around next week. The fragrance, so we hear, has notes of blackberry, cashmere, sandalwood and golden amber.
"He loves it," Richie dished to us during the launch. "It gets him going hard. His pants have never looked so large!"
Uh...yeah.
As for Nic's black-and-gold shoe-booty things she has on her feet, well, we ain't mad at 'em, but something strappier may have worked better.
Unless we're all wrong. After all, her other accessories, including a set of simple bangles, look terrific.
