Position:Enterprise Systems Administrator
Location:Tallahassee,FL
Duration:6 months with possible extensions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide lead support for escalated issues to the development staff; troubleshoots problems, answers enterprise applications and enterprise middleware questions, and provides technical assistance for issues relating to enterprise applications, Windows Operating Systems and enterprise middleware
Install, configure and troubleshoot enterprise middleware
Install, configure and troubleshoot enterprise applications
Create documentation of server systems, operational procedures, enterprise application deployment, and enterprise middleware installations and production configurations
Configures and troubleshoots complex networking issues in a multi-homed server environment
Work independently on IT projects and all areas of enterprise application and middleware support
Provide one-on-one technical training with team members and other users, as needed
Troubleshoot, analyzes and resolves system and Enterprise server, middleware and application problems
Rapidly deploys fixes to systems and Enterprise applications and middleware in response to newly identified stability and security threats

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 Server Operating Systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Clustering Services and other Highly available server methodologies
Knowledge of daily Windows server administration, including system stability, integrity, and troubleshooting
Proficient in installing, configuring and troubleshooting enterprise applications and middleware
Proficient in backup integrity and recovery coordination along with disaster preparedness planning
Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols including DHCP, DNS, WINS and TCP/IP applied in an enterprise environment utilized by servers in a multi-homed configuration
Advanced knowledge of networking including routing, subnetting and static/persistent routes
Knowledge of the relevant computer systems, applications and equipment to provide customer support of technical terminology, concepts and applications

4 or more years experience in systems administration OR MCSE/MCIPT certified and 3 years of relevant experience
2 or more years experience as a technical lead of an IT project team to include experience in supporting enterprise class application and middleware technologies
