Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced ETL developer/tester to join our Data Warehousing project team in Sacramento, CA. Working with a team of PCR consultants and technical specialists at the client site, your responsibilities may include the following:
Analyzing, designing, documenting, building, testing, and implementing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tasks
Creating test scripts and executing high quality system testing, including complete and correct documentation
Developing database stored procedures to supplement and support ETL or application needs
Communicating with technical leads, project management personnel, and end users to identify, document, and implement business rules requirements
Participating in ongoing improvement of systems, standards, and methodologies

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
BS in Computer Science or related field
Immediate authorization to work in the US
2+ years relevant work experience
Solid understanding of relational databases
Solid SQL development skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Professional demeanor

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools, especially IBM Infosphere DataStage and QualityStage
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming theory
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Proficiency in Java, SQL, and database management tools
Familiarity with UNIX and/or Windows scripting
