Description:
In this role, the individual will participate in all development activities to successfully deploy new systems and enhancements, and work with colleagues and end users to design, develop and implement solutions to meet business requirements. The Senior Software Engineer will also assist other team members in supporting and maintaining related CSM applications.
Responsibilities
· Participate in architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and support
· Work with business team, project managers, and systems analysts to review and qualify business requirements, functional specifications, use-cases, and test plans
· Design, prototype and code new software components and applications based on functional specifications.
· Coordinate with analyst teams to execute test plans and provide support during user acceptance testing.
Modify and enhance existing systems to incorporate new functionality and to optimize them for performance.
Author technical design and support documentation.

· 4+ years Java application development experience with full project lifecycle
· 4+ years of proven analysis and technical design, development, and architecture experience in a database application environment
· Ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time efficient manner
· Ability to understand legacy in-house applications and highly complex and interrelated systems and processing
Must possess working knowledge of Java, J2EE, and Javascript
· Must possess Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Unix skills
· Experience with various software development methodologies, such as Agile
· Willing to work in an energetic, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment and handle multiple conflicting priorities
· Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write technical documentation
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

5. This consultant will be doing some development but a majority of the work will be support and enhancements.
